the number of in game player should be reduce. (just in game with FOX-3)
After 3h experiences, it just feels like playing AC with map “Bering Strait”. At the beginning, the missile just everywhere, everybody try to avoid or being kill, then everybody just start close combat. those fancy BVR tac only can see and enjoy at the end of game.
the missile ARH property should be fix.
Now all these fox3 are weird, they will keep sway after launch, that makes them quickly lose speed. So i usually use them within visual range as a sidewinder.
The ARH it self also strange, i check the reply and find those 120A lock enemy aircraft first, but immediatly change target after ARH find other 120A. Is that normal? Considering the RCS, aircraft should be much easier to lock than the missile.
the reply system should be improve
News sensor view is good, but with some performance issue. when open all tags and everybody start launching missile, seriosuly framedrop will appear, my R75800 and 3060 only have 3FPS at that time

actually idk now. it looks very close to dcs mod I’ve seen recently
still tho it only shows that it’s possible to integrate these weapons but that doesn’t mean they are already integrated into the jet

I’m guessing whoever made the DCS mod probably used SAAB’s actual product sheet wherever you found it

They prob won’t do that honestly. Too much work for some 5 day testing. I can expect them to change/tweak the missiles a bit before dev server closes but that’s about it

I don’t think reducing player count is going to fix any problems. 8v8 isn’t going to work when one aircraft has enough missiles to solo the entire enemy team. That’s just going to result in matches that end after a minute or two, no one wants that.
I’d rather keep 16v16 but give us back the big EC maps and missions, similar to sim battles. With multiple airfields and maybe two spawns for each player, you can spread The team out with secondary objectives and fix the issue of everyone clumping up in the Center of the map. It’ll lead to more dynamic games I think, especially with modern jets and arh missiles.
I am also really enjoying the new missiles, they are fun to use.
I doubt we’ll see the testing event on live version of the game. I’s probably dev-server exclusive

not 4, 13-14 micas (or magic 2s, they’re interchangeable). 6 under the wings, 5-6 under the fuselage (2 top right and left, 2 bottom right and left, and 1/2 under the belly).
RB EC would be great to bring back but it would require some serious effort from the devs and be a pretty massive change.
The devs don’t seem to like big change.
8 vs 8 or 10 vs 10 is a much simpler solution. Match length probably wont change much.
By this logic, currently two planes have enough to destroy the entire team. It just doesn’t change much here.
Reducing team size will increase awareness which would be a major upside of a team size reduction. Downside is that the learning curve will be more difficult but its no more difficult than Ground RB. As far as match length, If you ever get down to the final 2 vs 2 or 1 vs 1, that can be a long lasting fight just because you’re both hyper aware of each other.
Lower player count doesnt necessarily mean shorter matchez.

You can’t exactly ripple off 6 er or 6 aim7 though. Whereas you can absolutely do that with arh. That makes it much easier to engage multiple enemies, which I think would make smaller matches much quicker compared to what we have on the live server currently
Then it’d be a higher BR than Rafale…
Maybe an interim solution is moving you up to br13 if you have arh equipped, otherwise leave you at 12.7. And cap the number of arh equipped planes in a match to two or three per side?
