Since Gaijin didn’t give us the IMI-upgraded VADS, I propose a coaxial minigun for the base model. It should not affect the BR, but will set this M163 apart from American and Israeli examples.

Cant wait to drag this double trouble machine into infantry when one mini gun wont do two will. Would be a excellent suggestion as there is a image of the thing.
Would be a nice opportunity to get them to make a proper M163A1 model instead of the base M163 (that Thailand never had) model it uses now.
But ideally it’d be a modification, just so it can still be taken off for the more average Thai service M163A1 appearance. Since I imagine they’d want a base M163A1 model anyways to potentially add to other operators in the future I don’t think this would be an additional cost for them either.
Yeah it’s penetrating besides the composite block, and then because the turret shape is wrongly modelled* the shell still ends up in the crew compartment.
*The volume marked in yellow shouldn’t be part of the turret, but the external storage boxes. The real turret shape with flat sides is actually done right in game on the “TKX (P)”, which is even the same vehicle by serial numbers, just from a few years earlier with a temporary storage box design.
With the real shape the turret interior doesn’t extend past the composite block.
Is Type 16 worth it? Sales soon
Does anyone have a flight profomance chart of the ki-83 in game? What I see online is that the ki-83 can go even faster at lower altitudes.
I personally love both of the tech tree versions and with the premium one basically just being the Type-16 P in terms of firepower mixed with the armor package and mobility of the top Type-16 id say its worth it
Only if those kinds of tanks fit your playstyle though if you dont know how to play it its gonna be overall worse over a type-90 premium
You’re probably better off getting the type 90 for grinding if that’s your goal, but the type 16 is an incredibly fun vehicle to play.
Hmmm yeah MBT would be definitely easier for consistent good scores, but I’m a bit afraid of japanese 11.7 BRs after the sales.
After each sale when I was paired with Japs and saw 50% of the team with a single Type 90 each, I was getting negative in an instant lol
The only top tier I bought so ahead of my TT progress was Challenger DS, but I had squadron T-90A and event CRV Block 2 so I had pretty good lineup even without the trained crew and I did very good, something about 60% WR.
I’ll need to think about it, TT is quite short and unique but I don’t see many premium options outside of top tier.
What would you do in my situation?
I’m thinking of getting the premium Chi-Nu and just go through the TT with a premium time. Tree is pretty unique all the way, in comparison with Israeli which I’m about to do and buy the Merkava 2D just to save some of the pain of playing 20 slightly modified M60s and M48s.
Radar is neat but damn I was hoping for some ATGMs ;-;
YOOOO, New JDM!!!
but seems like they removed ATGM…
also i hear that is not APS, that is for anti UAV thing, that covered thing I think is commander optics
oh wait…no way…no more magazine turret???
unman turret!?
and we gonna have APS???

My Mitsubishi baby girl gonna have APS???
I cry…
Probably not, those ASEAs are typically used for C-UAV duties. Hopefully they buy proxy fuzed 30mm ammo for them, would be a nice “SPAAG” for the 9.7 line up.
The turret does appear to be the same as the Type-24 so if they get proxy for these hopefully we can argue commonality and get it for the Type-24 too
Should have the same ammo options as the Type 24/25, so I think it could be quite good in this role using its radars.
The issue I have with HE-TF is the range is set for where the aircraft is at the moment of firing not where the aircraft will be at the point of lead. So things flying directly at you at speed have the shells explode behind them.
The row of ammunition racks at the rear of the turret is different; the hull ammunition rack holds two more rounds, while the bottom ammunition rack holds two fewer…
