With infantry these could be good low tier infantry only work vehicles especially if we can find any proof they where used by some police / security organization post war for something.
Bad news It only gets APDS and no APFSDS at 9.0, good news is at least it has more than two missiles, six to be exact.
Also since i could not post on the forum for being inactive for too lomg in the game but… THE HO-NI II IS FINALLY COMING YESS !!!
Taking a look at the HEAT shell it seems the accurately modeled it after the specification that i made in the suggestion.
The penetration is clearly wip though. Anyway not sure about the 10 second maximum reload, it is only 105mm gun why would it have the same relaod as 120 mm guns found on the Chi-Ha short or Ro-Go TD.
So far i rate this update a 10/10, a really good start for a first update of the year. Can’t even remember when was the last time we have got more than one ground vehicle in the same update that was not copy-paste or premium.
And oh, apparently the Ho-Ni II we are getting is a prototype version.
The only differences i can see is that the production version has a cut on the edge of side shield and different vision port locations.
Mass-production versions used the Chi-Ha kai/late Chi-Ha chassis. I can’t find any photographs of the early type Ho-Ni II, aside from the prototype.
Edit: It should have the same hull as the in-game Chi-Ha kai and Ho-Ni I, instead of using the hull of the basic Chi-Ha, to be more clear. The gun shield should also pretty much just be identical to the Ho-Ni I, aside from having weaker armor due to the lack of the double-layered 25 mm plates on the front.
They should remodel the tech tree as the intended mass production. They can outright just rip the hull model of the Ho-Ni I, since their hulls are identical, and then they would only have to remodel the gun and the mantlet. The prototype would make an okay premium, though I hope they don’t do this some stupid way and lock the production version behind a future paywall or event.
Not sure, it has a suu-500 weapon stabilizer so it should fire on the move. They only stop to fire IRL for accuracy if the BTR bounces alot. Maybe its just another case of Ukrainian vehicles being nerfed like the oplot?
as much i want to bash gaijin, i think they just C&P the BTR from the ussr TT, then changes things.
and unless i am wrong btr-82at cannot fire on the move past 5km/h because it’s having different sight/aiming?
then i think btr-3 should be able to fire on the move like bmp-2m right?
