The O-I will still be pretty good. It will have APHE rounds with ~120mm penetration, HEAT with 150mm penetration, HE with a 7kg explosive charge, and two Type 1 47mm cannons with ~80mm penetration.
As I remember later discutions about O-I showed that Type 1 physically can’t fit O-I turrets
The only gun which ideal similar to the drawings is 70mm Type 94 like on Ro-Go

I just found a photo of the Chi-Ha Kai (Shinhoto) with additional wooden armor.
If they added track armor to the turret like in this picture, it would improve this tank’s survivability.
What sucks is that you’re more than likely correct about this
The Royal Thai Air Force has officially signed a procurement contract for the Barak MX system with IAI.

if i’m not mistaken in the dev stream they said that this “preludes” a remodel for the type 61
while that’s great(specially because I really like the Type 61) you know what actually needs a remodel? the Type 90
is one of the first mbts to be added in the game and since then it has these odd details that stick out like a sore thumb, like the smoke grenade dispatchers being black instead of matching with the color of the tank, the composite armor looks like its covered in canvas and you can see the wrinkles in the corners
and as you can see is completely wrong, hopefully after the Type 61 the Type 90 can get an update
There is a lot worse stuff wrong with the Type 90 model than simple aesthetics
Hull isn’t as sloped as it should be

Turret ring is flat and has a simple construction when it’s a lot more complex irl

The hull composite armor shape is a very different irl

Turret has a symmetrical front when the gunner’s side should be slightly narrower and have a steeper slope.

Well, they are covered in canvas irl.
Some wrinkles on right turret cheek can be seen in this image.
I’m not sure when the model of the combined fuel tank and ammunition storage became detailed, but this is welcome news. However, looking at many secondary sources, it appears the fuel tank and the composite armor of the hull are designed to fit together cleanly.

Yeah, thats how its supposed to be. We just got the new fuel tank shape, so hopefully the hull armor change follows along soon.
They’re going to remove the ho-ri and replace it with this 1970s mbt at 6.7
Lovely.
that thing is already ingame though the premium is jsut a new model
Even though they use the same vehicle, the engine names are different, so do we need a “reliable source” to prove they’re the same?

One more thing. I submitted a report stating the Type 03 missile weighs approximately 570kg, citing the Defense White Paper and event explanation cards as evidence. The manager rejected it, citing the Type 03 specifications as 583kg.
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/qmfUV36mIIap
The current weight of the AAM-4 is set to 222kg in WT, as stated on explanation cards at many events. However, the AAM-4B specification sheet lists the standard weight as 220.4kg. Since the AAM-4 and AAM-4B are noted to have the same weight, they can be considered under the same standard.
Spoiler

For the Type 03, the specification sheet was adopted. For the AAM-4, the event description card was adopted. Which one will the manager adopt as the standard?
Overall the Type 03s missile is quite accurate modelled. Thrust or Drag may require change but thats currently impossible to report, even with the Specification Document (which we do have).
The AAM-4 and AAM-4B have a ~1-2kg weight difference IRL, but since we only have AAM-4B Specification Documentaiton, reporting the base AAM-4 is difficult, even though the difference is almost meaningless and the already accepted AAM-4 reports much more significant and important.
So how does the 03 hold up to current spaa ingame?
Besides being useless for close range, at medium range its pretty much a baby Buk-M3;

I mean atleast it seems better then then TAN sam
