First 12.0 rcv 😂
soon the Type 90 will be 12.3 and Type 10 at 12.0 xD
This, but these unique things will probably come in a pack or as event.
Because Gaijin doesnt really like the “Unique” anymore when it comes to adding it to a nation from which only 1 nation can get access to.
E.G. We got the stingray in the TT because the US also gets the Stingray. If only Japan could get the Stingray, we would not get it, or as a premium.
With 200mm less pen the average tank at the br, while also having no armour…
The abrams only has a 1 second longer reload, better armour and a better round…
The Type 76 and Type 81 would be too weak to add, primarily due to their gun, but I hope the Type 76 AA gets added as a tech tree vehicle, eventually, now that there’s confirmation that Thai ground vehicles are going to be added. Their Type 92 would also be fun, plus they could just take the T17E2 model for that and replace the gun to make it. Then there’s also the 105 mm they stuck on an M3 halftrack, and the quad cal. .50 they stuck on an M45 truck. The latter could be a fun premium option.
There’s also some easy ways to make the vehicles they already announced unique.
The M163 was later modernized with the Super Vulcan kit, replacing the track radar with an IR tracking system and allowing the turret to be operated remotely from tge hull.
The M60A3 TTS also could get “WERA” add-on armor to make it a bit more interesting, or even be changed into the modernized M60A3 TIFCS for a more functionally unique option.
Neither of these has to be boring if Gaijin is willing to put in a bit more effort.
You just explained why it won’t happen.
The M60 with wood sounds like a better premium candidate than a modification. The M48A5, M60A3 RISE (P), TSS, and TIFCS could all form a supplemental 7.7-9.0 line, with the Type 69-IIA being stuck between the M48A5 and the M60A3 RIS (P).
Their M41 variants and Scorpion could all fluff out the line between the Type 60 ATM and the Type 87 RCV/Type 89. I would like to see the TH-301, too, though that would probably end up as a premium.
Yeah I think so too, but if they really want a regular TTS at a specific BR this could make it unique without hurting their plans.
If they just want any M60 from Thailand then the TIFCS should be the one they choose.
Speaking of Gaijin’s effort, the Taiwan M60A3 TTS still lacks the metal rods on the side of the turret (since 2019 when China tech tree got added) because Gaijin basically copy-pasted the M60A3 TTS from the US tech tree and just removed the ERA. When I made a camo for the Taiwan M60A3, the template still included the ERA mount weathering marks.
My Royal Thai Army M60A3 TTS camo.
Someone already reported this a year ago but I don’t know when it will get fixed.

I don’t see why it would need to be unique. Japan is sided with the US at that BR range, so there is no misidentification that could go on there.
Personally I don’t have an inherent issue with non-unique vehicles either, there is some I’d actually really want to see. But with limited space in the techtrees I think that unique national models should be preferred to not only make it more interesting in short term, but also make sure that as many unique modifications get to find their way into the game long term.
So when the choice is between an M60A3 TTS and the exact same vehicle with a modification for a unique set of wooden armor I’d want them to pick the latter. I still think it should be a modification, not permanent though, since it’s only a one-off modification and there should still be the option to represent regular service vehicles.
The general progression model also means that players have to bring up full RP costs for a vehicle they already played elsewhere, which to many seems like a waste and discourages branching out to new trees. Personally I think that research and purchase costs should be reduced for vehicles you already played elsewhere to solve this, but good luck trying to convince Gaijin to ever implement something like this.
Also note the fuel can, tool box, and towing cable are missing aswell. These are also on the side of Thai M60.
So what can we expect from T-84?
IIRC:
Good ERA and Great mobility (26 hp/t, 70kph max speed)
Mediocre firepower and gun handling.
It’s going to be a better Pakistaini T-80UD basically, New welded turret, more power engine, Relict like ERA everywhere, etc.
Isn’t the ERA way better than Relict
oops right, got my Russian ERAs mixed up, my bad!
There should be a 90mm V-150 in operational use in Thailand which would make better sense
Afaik this has a Cockerill Mk. III gun on the Cadillac Gage 1m turret. Wouldve been funnier if it had the Mk. III-A gun (in use with the Filipino LAV-300) since that one could fire APFSDS rounds but I digress lol
Also, if France is going to get the VL-MICA, Thailand might be able to get one as well!
Tech trees don’t have limited space. And even if they did, Japan is no where near that amount. They don’t even have five lines in the ground tree that’s the current “max,” they only have four. Though, I do also prefer unique national models over generic ones, too.
