Within the ASEAN Founders, the ones with the strongest links is TH, PH, and ID - it will not be as cracked as if its together with Malaysia and Singapore but it will bring some uniqueness to the subtree (Harimau, Sabrah, Badak, etc.)

Personally I feel like with Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines seem like an ideal combination.
There’s enough content to fix the main issues and keep the future interesting, but also enough space for these three nations to have their own identity in the tree right now which was always the issue with bigger subtree ideas.

I know this is the Japan ground discussion section but does China even needs a sub-tree right now? I know this whole thing started due to today news but I cant avoid thinking why is such an ordeal about it(excluding the VT4) Japan is running out of vehicles but China isn’t, it has a LOT that could be added and a lot that needs to be fixed, it isn’t running out of vehicles any time soon so I don’t know why would sub trees be considered for it yet
China really doesn’t, they just need more of their own vehicles. If a subtree was added it’d be more for some extra stuff from outside of china, which doesn’t quite belong anyway.
It could also be a theme now that I think about it - the Archipelagic Trio! (well its JP-PH-ID but you can get the point lol)
Also Japanese Naval line can actually be supported with TH-ID-PH

Maybe not, but some nations could still bring interesting vehicles and make a lot of sense in the Chinese tree such as Pakistan and Bangladesh.

I think so,Taiwan have lots things can give to China such as M1A2T,IDF,F16V,I don’t think they need a L2SG and F15Sg.
I’m hoping for more light tanks… Thai tree could have Stingray II, Scorpion, PT-76, Type 63A, V-150, but knowing Gaijin, we’ll just get the OG Stingray

Judging by prior subs, most would probably stay in a 5th line but the spaas would join the existing Japanese spaa line
Technically it could but Im pretty sure the Commando Stingray is gonna be on the Light Tank line and the M163 is gonna be on the AA line. With only 2 vehicles left, Im not sure if its gonna justify an entire fifth line. Maybe when more vehicles get added?

Oplot can just follow after (or before, not sure what its BR would be) the TKX (P), or they move TKX (P) under Type 10 and put Oplot at Rank 7 after ICV. There’s also a gap available under the Type 16.

I see your point, unless there’s either copy paste or more unique vehicles they haven’t shown off yet which I doubt, it would depend on where the stingray ends up.
Though we’ve seen stuff like the zynri, a fit for the TD line be in the Hungarian line.

all this and still no Type 74 w/ NVD in the main line. Type 74 (G) Late or G+, whatever it was called, can fit there. Don’t know why they skipped it.

In updates,it says will add more 4 and 4＋+ aircrafts, what it will be for Japan? Jas39E ,F15jsi or Rafale CF4？
