It was mentioned again recently (a few months ago) in some Japanese MoD document. Looks like they’re still testing it

Those would be very welcome changes, but what I need the most is the missing UTDC on the IR missile.

Thanks, I didn’t know that the M247 had a modified AN/APG-66.

I only know this because it was the source of many of its issues. Ford thought they could save time and money by going with an existing radar.

Since Japan has Patriots, then I might ask here; how good will the Patriot be in game and how long can we expect to wait until it arrives?
probably a bit of an overkill on maps where enemy planes spawn 20 kilometers away from the battlefield
Depends which one exactly we talk about; there is PAC-2, PAC-2 GEM / GEM+, PAC-3 CRI, PAC-3 MSE…
Though, PAC-3 CRI is the probly “easiest to balance”, the Type 03 Kai may be a better option though.
