It is incorrect. Type 91 has both TV and IR seekers
And according that they claiming missing IR seeker, mostly claiming missing of proximity fuse is incorrect
Type 91 Kai has IIR seeker only, without TV one

Is that something that could be added for the Type 93? I’m all for that smokeless motor.
Type 91 Kai has IIR + smokeless engine and Type 93 can get it but better to add new Type 93 (Late)
This is from the Japanese wiki and this is the source: https://web.archive.org/web/20160308094049/http://www.mod.go.jp/trdi/data/pdf/60th/2-5.pdf.
Looks to include something about other missiles too.
Created a report:

I don’t think that would be necessary tho? The missile would fly just the same, main difference would be easier use against front aspect targets during low visibility and the smokeless motor. You could make an argument to put it higher in BR, but only slightly to 9.7, which doesn’t really change much since you usually run it in a lineup with other 9.7 vehicles (Type 16, RCV, ICV etc.).
Increasing BR of Type 93 means that 9.3 line will be left without SAM
Meanwhile adding another one will give more SAM with more respawns for 9.7 and 11.3
Could also give the chance to add the other as a multi-vehicle system with something like JTPS-P18 search radar for it.
im kinda curious about the Oplots br placement since as far as i know ukraine failed to develop any new APFSDS projectiles so they still use the 3BM42 Mango as their latest and i would assume based on that their autoloaders arent modified in the same way like latest russian tanks to fit long rods like the 3BM60
10.3
Doesn’t Oplot get much better tech tho?
I think Gaijin will just make it into a T-80UD but with a thermal
Mostly it won’t be added with Type 93 because it is not part of whole system but different one
Also I am not sure can Type 93 directly get info from this radar
it gets Duplet ERA which is should be superior to Relikt, Zaslin APS, modern thermals for gunner and commander and it has an reverse speed of 32 kmh compared to russian 4/11kmh
we got the T-80UD/DU1 from the last winter event
what they can do, considering that thailand uses the VT-4, is probs give it the top Chinese round as Im sure that the top Chinese round can still be used in older Autoloaders
My idea for Japanese vehicle pack similar to the recent ones coming next update.
Operation Ketsugo pack.
But honestly, if they want to make a WW2 theme it might be difficult because Japan doesn’t have any ww2 SPAAG that surpass the So-Ki and i doubt they will ever consider making the Ta-Ha SPAA so the only option is having tanks for all three vehicles if the pack is gonna be a tier 3 like other packs.
Regardless, i’d be happily buying it if the amount of details are anywhere as close to this.
sure that could work i dont know if the top tier Chinese rounds are compatible with the older autoloaders found on the T84 but its not like gaijin hasnt given things to vehicles that they were never able to carry just for balancing reason. if it can get the top tier Chinese round it probably be a good 12.0 tank
Is there really no Japanese WW2 SPAA that could actually be different to those present in the game yet not be completely made-up (aka “paper vehicles”)?
It’s straight up bs that Japanese didn’t produce many types of SPAAGs during WW2 (I mean, Ta-Se and So-Ki were pretty much prototypes that weren’t produced in numbers from what I remember) and something like Ta-Ha is just ground forces R2Y2.
I mean, there is literally no proper SPAAGs left for Japan (unless we count those one-off prototypes using the same armament as existing ones), so probably the Japanese premium pack shall consist of higher ranks (I saw an interesting suggestion making a premium pack out of prototype STAs and Type 60 SPRGs and SUB-I-II, as that one is pretty much a one-off prototype as well).
IIRC the Ta-Ha actually had a few significant parts built so it is eligible.
