Agreed, if no domestic or unique vehicles exist to fill a gap then Copy and paste should be used instead.
Finland air is a great example of gaijin literally adding no actual gap fillers and thus ignoring the actual problems with the air tree. I hate when gaijin decides to not actually think when it comes to fixing problems with main TT’s. I just hope the ground additions bolster lineups that are lacking a lot cough cough 8.x

Not just that, but some Gaijin BR decisions boggle the mind with regard to lineups
Type 87 RCV P at 7.7? Why? The Wiesel is at the same BR, smaller, and gets gen 3 thermals+LRF plus the same autocannon! It should be at 7.3 with the M47, Ho-Ri, and Type 99.
Type 81c now at 11.7? The same BR as the Pantsir… Gaijin, please get someone else in the balancing kitchen, your BRs are burned to a crisp…!

Okay type 87 RCV (p) honestly does better at 8.7, in a full uptier against Germany is when i pull it.
Honestly 8.7 against Germany is the only thing that kept me sane spading it
Also for the nuke on American desert that T55 AM-1 can go **** himself Ho Ri Supremacy!!!
Seriously skip play the RCV against Germany and flank and play like a Rat, uncap objectives and listen and youll do fine.
(Just have to blow your brains out getting the APDS…)

It’s mostly personal bias, but I find Pattons dreadfully boring. Only the later iterations, such as the RISE, are interesting to me.
Given how much more accurately WOT implemented the STA and STB, I wonder what other discrepancies will show up between this and WT.

Good thing about thai is they’d add like 4 ukraine vehicles that, lets be real, most likely wont enter the game for a good bit if not ever.

They pretty much confirmed Thailand for Japanese tree, or? And I see no reason to not add the Oplot-T.
I mean… japan already has an air thai sub tree dont see how they cant add ground

Tbh this could have been a squadron vehicle for 9.x BR in lieu of RCV (P), which I consider a waste of squadron research points.
Like the thing (90mm BTR) was, afaik, a proposal for Thais and was trialed only, so it would fit quite neetly the place. But I forsee it as a future event vehicle for Japan (yet again, Thai ground forces should arrive sooner or later + there isn’t and wasn’t a single event ground vehicle for Japan).

Its the low pressure Cockerill, so would be ~6.7-7.0 going by other AFVs with the gun. 250mm heat wouldn’t be fun even with a LRF (if it has one I honestly don’t know) @ 9.x
Pantsir 12.0, Tan-SAM would be same br as FlaRakRad and ADATS

Not only HEAT but also APFSDS (about 100mm pen 60° @ 1000m) + Tandem ATGM (Falarick 90 w/ at least 550mm pen), couple these w/ laser rangefinder and thermal imager and you get a workable light tank with capabilities unique enough to be either squadron or event

apart from falarick 90, those are quite terrible performance, even worse than what ZTS-63 have at 7.7, definitely not 9.X worthy

Probably, but still better than usual 90mm low-pressure rat gun found at 7.x (given none have either thermals or laser rangefinders)
the thai sub tree for air at least in the higher ranks (10.3+) adds virtually nothing especially at the 10.3-11.0 BR’s theres quite literally nothing
Sure, it’s still less than other nations even when combined with Japan, but it’s not nothing and they have a bit of fun stuff to add in the 10.0+ area.

The normal stuff, like the Oplot, M60A3 TIFCS and BTR-3s. You might have to take away VT-4, VN-1 and VN-16, but even then they don’t seem nearly as controversial as they did in the past.
VL-MICA as multi-Vehicle SAM for when that’s added
And some very promising concepts for AFV420 and R600 chassis that are still in prototype stage
I’d agree it’s not enough just yet, but unless Gaijin mess up completely it’s not nothing either.
