I’ll be able to do my first YouTube video here soon
This video will deal with the failures of implementation of the Japanese
TKX (P)
Type 10
TKX
It’ll be going into depth on the armor values
Penetration
Reload
Modeling
Suggested improvements to these tanks to make them more balanced and provide a better overall experience to those playing them. Keep your eyes out I’ll have a link up here soon👀👀👀
I would like to see the Japanese ground forces corrected before they add in the Thailand ground forces.
If they actually modeled the Japanese tanks accurately the T-84 wouldn’t be a necessity but rather a pleasant option. Adding the T-84 before the type 10 and TKX gets fixed gives gaijin a get outta jail free card.
I made multiple of them. See how they like it when someone makes a video about it and calls them out.
I’m doing this for all nations.
I want nothing more than a balanced game. However artificially nerfing vehicles to get to the result of the ones that are actually balanced on paper needing to be nerfed is not a good state of play.
We should have vehicles naturally balancing themselves out in theory and then try to fit the ones that are underwhelming into those categories
I’m not sure. China uses the unlicensed 2A46M (ZPT-98/99) gun. Ukraine uses the 2A46M-1 (KV-3). And Russia uses the 2A46M-5 gun. Each of them has different chamber pressure, which means that when using new shells, the gun needs to be upgraded, which China doesn’t do. And this means that there may be problems with the specification of projectiles from different countries. At least, this is how things are in RL
Say any chance we get armed Toyota trucks added?
They have every kind of weapon you could feasably fit onto it, realistically we could get a whole sub-tree of these Japanese vehicles… (machineguns, cannons, rockets & more)
Well, not for the Japanese tree at least, that would be the equivalent of adding all Ural truck modifications to the Russian tree.
I’m also not sure Gaijin would want to represent vehicles from insurgency groups, although there are plenty of other militaries that create these sorts of technicals.
Thai soldiers just can’t stop adding loud, cringey music to their TikTok videos. I followed a few Oplot tank crews, but most of the good clips ended up getting ruined because of it.
AAM-1 would be totally useless, but AAM-2 might be interesting. And at this point, the argument that it never reached production is just not even relevant anymore. Look at the F-16AJ, shit is just made up.
Chi-Ri hull and 40 ton weight would make perfect sense together with the stated 40km/h top speed. Would be nice if superstructure could take some hits, but I’m pretty sure it couldn’t have been much more than 75mm. It would be pretty mobile at least.
Compared to the mockup Ho-Ri, this vehicle’s main drawback is the Chi-Ri-style flat 75mm frontal armor. The superstructure appears slightly thicker, but it’s still flat. However, it includes several interesting features like a rangefinder, anti-aircraft machine guns, and a hull-mounted 37mm gun — which, if I recall correctly, was intended primarily for firing smoke shells to create a smoke screen. This function is also said to be the reason sloped armor was rejected in the design (although i’m not aware if Japan ever developed 37mm smoke rounds).
The roof of the fighting compartment is extended, likely to improve gun depression. I’m curious whether it still maintains the -10 degrees depression, or possibly even more?
