Oh you’re right, it’s 23kg. I thought 23kg was a typo on navywep.
Well that’s unfortunate.
…Well, we actually understood that. Yes. Yamato was invincible in a battle at 20-30km. If the enemy couldn’t penetrate the armor, there was no problem in placing the shells above the water line to save space. 굴러온-san was right.
They acknowledged it’s wrong, they just haven’t done work on the model since it was leaked.
Yes, Yamato’s turning was characterized by a minimum turning radius as small as that of a destroyer, in exchange for the worst responsiveness. I hope that this will be reproduced.
Is that so? That’s good. If Yamato had left more detailed blueprints, we wouldn’t have had so much trouble understanding its structure…
Not in the changelog, but she 's in the CDK files.
Yeeeeeesssss
AAAAHHHHHHHH!!! Yes! Finally, a Kagerou!
I’m excited for all the new BBs (to say nothing of the insane decompression we’re getting), but Yukikaze may end up being my favourite individual addition of the patch! :D
I’ll do you one better they are not giving the Yamato its AA shells cause the game cant handle it :kek:
Yamato will be the only battleship that cannot angle - when you angle the ship, it becomes more vulnerable than showing full broadside. Yamato players have to consistently show full broadside to their enemy and keep as much distance as possible, because once you entered the range where your enemy can penetrate your belt armour, you’re done.
If you take 450 shells, then the ammunition reserve will be freed up and will give more survivability
wonder where front armor went (problem with all ship anyway)
What can I say about Yamato, the ship is absolutely not in place now, its hull just crumbles from almost one salvo. 3 compartments are knocked out very easily and it goes to the bottom, you don’t even have to try
The problem of Yamato’s diagonal bulkheads is even more severe than what I expected - in WT’s combat range she’s probably end up having one of the worst survivability because she can’t angle at all. At 15km, even Vanguard, which has the weakest armour among the big ones coming in this update, can immune to Iowa’s 16" guns at a very specific heading angle, while Yamato has absolute no immunity against Iowa’s gun within 15km.
How it feels playing like a tank in a vehicle designed to play nothing like that lol
There is some opinion that the 460mm does not have enough damage at all. Although it should make a lot more impact
If you’re thinking of WoWs’ 32 mm plating armor, there were no such thing in real life.
Fortunately for her, Yamatos rear bulkheads are more adequately protected and can be used to angle. If she wants to tank she’ll have to kite.
No i don’t talk about wow, sadly the game doesn’t show or take into consideration the hull itself has armor like it could be 1mm thick paper.
some ship where designed to show the bow like the strasbourg but yup you get easy pen from the bow wich is weird something is missing somewhere
Nothing? French battleships were not designed to show bow, it was only designed all turret forefront in order to reduce displacement. There are no need to them to have thick bow armor. Similar for Yamato. It’s thickness is historical
