my dream about the future of this GCS-1 talk:
We will have someone that checks on the trial reports (made in 1980’s)
Find evidence in it, that those GCS-1 “sees & tracks” the designated target
Then post everything here

(edit: i forgot the part that a second dude comes in, and says that the IR tracker was upgraded in the 2000’s, and that there is plans for another upgrade of seeker planned for mid-2030’s)
It is a very similar seeker to ASM-2, meaning it would track targets down to the size of small attack and landing craft. As for ground targets there is no reason to assume such an issue any more than the ASM-2, which can track them in-game but is limited by the velocitysize gate and (irrelevant to the GCS) also a sea skimming flight path.
But all of that becomes wholly irrelevant when you consider it can track sea targets just fine, so why not add it like ASMs?
A 2000lb GPS glide bomb is rather useful in game. There is no information on accuracy available.
I guess this needs to be said despite being written in the rules, but misinfo is not allowed. I’ve seen enough proof of X weapon being on Y platform as proof, but nothing proper countering that, just the same repeated words similar to “this is false” with nothing to back it up. And then going for politics and insults? Really now?
