+65C +/-15C seems to say it’s in the range of 50-80C over the surroundings. I don’t know exactly how hot a tank’s engine deck can get.

That part was used as a example of their Mobile ballistic launcher as for example.
Something that there was info of to base an assumption off.
If it can track mobile ballistic missile launchers which produce this levels of heat/emission, a tank with a more higher rate of fuel consumption and emissions should be easier to track.

albeit as long it isn’t clustered among other similar emitting heatsources.

So the GCS-1 was actually tested against that truck and successfully tracked it?

I think this is a bit of a part A part B where it just needs to get close enough a missile launcher cant take any punishment so if it lands just close enough a small chunk of metal can break the missile. This is not a drone video of a launcher getting nuked its do the minimum to get maximum gain.

Talking about heat seeking bombs I hope we get stuff like the WW2 Ke-Go bombs

These would get a lot of use in Naval blasting ships and the like. Yes you would likely not get a kill but with engine room explosions you can do damage. You also might survive more as a plane.

It would be huge if they actually tested a real GCS against a real truck and got a good result out of it, could be used to further widespread knowledge of this bomb

If you think the Russians and Americans are quiet on there tests I find the Japanese are even more quiet. The language issue is not helping.

They aré not really quiet on the contrary they do one of the most extensive tests out there but dont like to share all info and when they do its hard to access, just find It under atla research page

Felt like sketching one of the aircraft that’s in the story I have been writing since 2012,

This time it’s the Japanese Expeditionary Forces F-1A Kai.

One of the frontline combat aircraft of the Japanese Expeditionary Forces.

The F-1A Kai is a upgraded variant of the Mitsubishi F-1 “Supersonic Reisen”
This aircraft has been modernised to keep up with the ever changing battlefield and to keep the Expeditionary forces up to date.

In response to the 1985 border crisis with the People’s Republic of China, it became apparent that the F-1 and the T-2 would not survive long in a prolonged engagement with any near peer to peer opposition forces.
Using the technology for the FS-X program, along with defensive sensor technology that were tested on the F-2A. They modernised this aircraft to a point it could hold its own against any fourth and even fifth generation aircraft.

This aircraft is from the novel’s I’ve written and is an aircraft Saryn has encountered a couple times during her missions.

I really dont get why Gaijin cares, there is literally ZERO information on KA-88A, LS-6 (IR), HOSBO and Kh-38MT IR-seeker capabilities yet they just gave them generic AGM-65D based seeker and called it a day…
