I misread, stona was talking about target filter, but still the F-2A is missing that filter. I will try to make a bug report for it

I wonder if we can deliver the documents and a logical reason to developers directly to prove J2M’s armament issue, considering the J2M’s 30mm cannon is type5 so it should not be only for 42 rounds for eash, and also due to the accepted issue reports with missing 20mm guns, it is clear that only J2M matched that. (The U.S. military interrogation report concerns an officer from the Yokosuka base, where the only aircraft that met the test requirements was the J2M, J5N1 got more rounds）

This is the Yokosuka naval base in 1945. In the photo, you can see Mitsubishi G4M3, Nakajima J1N1-Sa, Nakajima C6N1, Nakajima J5N, Yokosuka D4Y1/2 and Yokosuka D4Y3/4 aircraft.

I thought bug reports were fixed in order of importance. When is the F-2A gonna get its target filter, since its probably the plane that needs it the most…

I don’t want to give up on the hope that F-2A can get a HMD/HMS. I’ve done some digging and wanted to share some Shimadzu HMD systems developed from 1987 to 2010. I feel like I’m getting closer to finding proof a an HMD test on F-2A, but idk it still feels so far away…

@Xeno_quaza Unfortunately I have really bad news, that HMD is not for the F2…
Its actually a night vision HMD, those are infrared sensors on the side…

Pretty funny that in the original Type 81 they said “we will not be adding ARH missile to it because it has no radar”, only to then give the multi-vehicle Type 81 this missile and the ability to fire it without a radar lock anyway

Then they were told that should be possible with both missiles and not even a year later they decided that instead of adding it to the EO/IR missile they just took it away from the ARH missile.

Hay everyone I’m looking into something for infantry does Japan have any sort of armed military Robot? AKA robot dog thing or tracked robot with a 50cal thing.
Mission Master SP and THeMIS were trialed by the JGSDF
JASDF has the Ghost Robotics Vision 60 in active service.

There’s a Mitsubishi UGV based on the old Type 89 IFV with 30mm cannon and Switchblade 600 Loitering Munitions shown at DSEI 2025, but this isn’t made yet and I haven’t seen anything new about it since then (but that doesn’t have to mean anything).
