Soo, going off the Vickers documents
it should have a ready rack ability of 3 rounds in 13 seconds (so 6.5 seconds reload for the first 2 rounds). Currently it takes 13 seconds on a stock crew and 10 seconds on an ace crew.
The document also suggests intense of up to 6 RPM, or 10 seconds. Currently however, the stock reload after the initial ready rack is ~18 seconds, I am unsure on the ace crew rate of fire.
Is this intended or is it just WIP dev server stuff? As currently I was very hyped to get the GBT 155 based on the reloading characteristics that Vickers put out for the system which generally speaking, gaijin use for other SPGs as a base line and in some cases improve upon for balance.
Just seems very odd for it to have such an extremely slow reload compared to the Vickers info and ALSO compared to other 7.0 SPGs of differing nations given it doesnt really have any other quirks like no LRF, no autoloader, no derpy protections from exploding, etc. Examples being Russian, Swedish and French.
If chaps have thoughts do add them, I could just be completely missing something and am happy to be told such :)
I was just really looking forward to this tank, I was very close to preordering it over the weekend too, but if it keeps the current rate of fire… I think I will be holding off for the time being.
edit: comparing with other 7.0-7.3 BR SPGs
bkan - 3.2 seconds autoloading. br 6.7 (though limited angles to fire, fair)
auf1 - 7.5 autoloading. br 7.0
type 99 - 7.5 autoloading, br 7.3
2S19M2 - 6 seconds autoloading, BR 7.3
2s19M1 - 7.5 seconds autoloading, BR 7.0
GBT 155 - 13 seconds non autoloading stock, 18 seconds non autoloading (so can be worse as crew die…) BR 7.0
