Game consistently crashes on game launch, between battles, & even clicking ‘To Battle’. If I’m really lucky, the game gives me a BSOD with error description ‘BEDaisy.SYS’. I’ve never altered my files or changed anything about how I play war thunder in the 12 years I’ve played. My hardware is also fairly new, and I do not have crashes or blue screens on other titles, some of them far less optimized than war thunder.
This has happened off and on since I got this PC, but the problem tended to go away on its own or after I verified the game files. Now it’s consistent, happening pretty much every time I boot up the game.
I have about 30 days of premium left. I used to be a pretty regular supporter of the snail, but that time is over. I’ve had enough. When that runs out, I don’t think I’ll be getting anymore, not ever again.
BSOD can’t be caused by a game alone, there has to be a driver/hardware fault that gets triggered by the game for a BSOD to occur. At least to my knowledge. BEDaisy.SYS is also the anti-cheat and not the game (BE = Battleye).

Not to mention, you don’t even know my specs, and you’re giving out clock speed recommendations as if those are supposed to mean something without that context.
Yeah, rage-baiting.
Especially considering that BEDaisy.sys triggers at unstable and faulty system in 90% of the cases.
Even if I am not encountering the same BSOD in pubg which uses the same battleye, that’s not the case for WT.
I’m just telling you my solution and the ones from others on WT forums, where people were blaming unstable and even degraded intel CPUs for causing BEDaisy system crash.
**I can’t help you with basic game crashes. It’s war thunder, it’s always been a buggy mess. Get used to it.
Yeah? Well, your ‘solution’ isn’t really a solution. I shouldn’t have to turn down my CPU’s clock speed to run a program that is supposed to utilize the performance at the disposal of my machine to run the game on max settings. This is THEIR program’s problem, not my machine, WHICH DOES NOT CRASH ON OTHER GAMES.
Again, it’s evident that you didn’t and are not ever going to read my post. Maximum fanboy-ism & rage-baiting is all I get from you.
If you really search for help with your hardware problems, please use Community Technical Support section, where our Tech Moderators and other players will try to help you.
But please be aware, that instead of arguing whith them, you would need to cooperate and give them some info on your hardware and settings.
Cheers!
