Game is literally unplayable for me now, BSOD & Game Crashes (Not caused by hardware)

Game consistently crashes on game launch, between battles, & even clicking ‘To Battle’. If I’m really lucky, the game gives me a BSOD with error description ‘BEDaisy.SYS’. I’ve never altered my files or changed anything about how I play war thunder in the 12 years I’ve played. My hardware is also fairly new, and I do not have crashes or blue screens on other titles, some of them far less optimized than war thunder.

This has happened off and on since I got this PC, but the problem tended to go away on its own or after I verified the game files. Now it’s consistent, happening pretty much every time I boot up the game.

I have about 30 days of premium left. I used to be a pretty regular supporter of the snail, but that time is over. I’ve had enough. When that runs out, I don’t think I’ll be getting anymore, not ever again.

BSOD can’t be caused by a game alone, there has to be a driver/hardware fault that gets triggered by the game for a BSOD to occur. At least to my knowledge. BEDaisy.SYS is also the anti-cheat and not the game (BE = Battleye).

Uninstalling and re-installing Battleye might also be a thing to try.

That still wouldn’t explain the non-BSOD crashing.

On top of that, none of those ‘Driver Verifier’ settings are enabled on my computer.

Do you get any error message during those non BSOD crashes?

You can bug report it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

There is a specific section of the guide for how to report crashes without error messages if you aren’t getting any.

Then contact support as described in the screenshot above for further assistance with the BSOD crashes.
