Once again, I’ve been talking about this constantly for the last year. Gaijin and “know it alls” on the forums say it’s my PC, but if my friends with RTX4090 cards and such have the same issue, then it’s absurd.

Yeah the freezing/stuttering/crashing is 90% of the time because this game is badly optimised. If players with all different system specs are having the same issue and the only common factor is the game itself then it must be an issue with War Thunder, not the player. Some people just can’t seem to understand that.

so i have stutter problems too there r small one that still ocur pretty often and are annoying as u r about to see or heavy ones that you cann see in the second clip its goddamn annoying and only in war thunder tried everything that was mentioned here and im sure its not my system

and the game is installed on my onbaord ssds

it seems like deleting valorant and vanguard was the way to go… i dont know what causes the problem between the games but yea…
Like several posts above, I will mention that removing Riot Vanguard/ exiting Vanguard has alleviated the stuttering issue for me.

Im having a similar problem but my game just freezes then black screens then throws me in desktop and then i need to ALT + TAB my way back in the game and suddenly my fps is down to 3-5fps???
I have tried almost every possible fix but with no effort.
Any tips how to look for the problem?
Hello guys, i had the same problem and went to display settings, and i noticed that my PC assumed i had 2 monitors, but i had only 1, removed second monitor and problem was solved. i think this is a nvidia driver instalation problem
hi there , i have microstutters in kamchatca match at early match , is che only map i get stutter , what does it happen only to me?

i’ve also noticed alot of the people that have stutter issues have very similar pc specs (a 7800x3d and a 40xx series card) its also getting worse for me since at the start it only stuttered every 30 seconds or so now its every 5-7 seconds its gotten so bad that the game is literally unplayable for me idk why they havent fixed it yet

same here 7800x3D rtx4090 over 6 months and no Solution found. The PC of my Girlfriend i9-13900K and 3090ti same issue

This is exactly what my game looks like. It’s sad to see that this issue hasn’t been addressed after almost a year.

This seems to have fixed it! I also have a 7800x3d and noticed a lot of people have this same issue with this cpu. :o
Its been 2 year for me and still have the same issues even after upgrade my PC … :/

Almost a year from this post and theres still not a true solution?
I tried everything from change components, fresh windows install and tried in other pc.

And i think it working for me just for now. . .

For about the last year I’ve been having random unpredictable freezing. System was rtx3080 and 5950x running 4k. Sound Arctic’s nova pro wireless using GG software.
The problem before changing the gpu.
The game runs perfectly fine then I get a heavy stutter and then a few seconds later the sound stops and a second or 2 later game completely freezes. Could alt+tab but couldn’t get Windows apps to work and processes was blank. Only way to start over was a fresh reboot. This could happen a few times in a session or sometimes I could go days without it happening at all. Only happens in WT.
After hardware changes 3080 changed to 4070ti super ram swap and after full windows format a clean install on a different M.2.
Seems to have become more frequent last few weeks but now no stutter and the sound stops exactly when the game freezes. Windows now completely unresponsive, can’t alt+tab anymore so have to hard reboot.
So I’ve eliminated
windows install
Hard drive/storage.
RAM
Game install
Graphics card
Driving me insane.
