My gpu is Intel A750, and cpu is: Amd 5600, after the major update I cant play this game from steam. I have already updated the gpu driver with clean installation option. When I press the play button it shows, “Unable to recover the 3D device.Try updating/clean installing the video driver[8111000D]” then it shows “cant reset 3d device”

Me and it seems many others can’t even start the game after the update. The game opens and goes through loading screens with “Logging in, please wait…” and “Connecting to game servers…” then the game crashes.
I get two error boxes:
One with “Critical Error”, "Unable to recover 3D device. Try updating/clean installing the video driver. [8111000D].
And one with “FATAL ERROR”, “can’t reset 3d device…”
I am currently in contact with support but they have not tried to fix anything yet, just asked me to install new drivers and do a clean installation which i have done and it has not helped.
The game stopped working after the “Ninth Wave” update, because of the update and not because i installed new drivers.
Just wanted to post this to show people with the same problem, you are not alone.

I have uninstalled the game lost my original account as a result. Had to make a new one ran a disk defrage and clean up my cache and etc unistalled my ryzen 7 5000 series driver. Reinstalled that. My graphics are med the game plays a few matches or not. And then crashes with a fatal errror of 8111002. I have been playing for about 6 years or so. This update is the first one that has caused this error.
Another unique thing is it seems to happen alot more when i exit out of the game window to do something on a tab or something. The game window is minimized so i go back to and the game crashes after that But sometimes it just crashes mid game

No, you did not. Simply log in to the account you used earlier.
Gaijin accounts are not attached to game instalation.
I did as I dont remember the password or no longer use the email I had for it
support can probably help you change email.

2 successful games before a 3rd one crashed with 81110012 critical error

Same here. 7900XTX. I had no issues before the patch. Even Vulkan was 100% stable before the patch.
After the patch, Vulkan crashes immediately upon entering a match. DX12 crashes after a few minutes, and DX11 crashes every few games. I turned settings down to low but still encounter crashes. I’m trying minimal now on DX11. I also switched back to VSync because I thought the frame limiter might be the problem, but no the frame limiter was not causing the issue.

i was happy to continue with the evento of the Oklhoma, and when i installed the update and started the game, the same issuea came to me, and i did EVERYTHING, i changed to “ultralow” in the config archive, started in the app “aces.exe” in 64 bits and tried in 32bit, and nothing, the same thing, i did everything, i know the cnahges in the config did work, but only some seconds after the game jsut gives up, i eliminated archives like “cache” and still the same problem, i already uninstalled the game and i am waiting to the game to fix the error, i thought i was the only one with this problem but appears im not, let hope Gaijin fix this .

Same here: nothing but crashes since yesterday’s update. Sometimes I can get into a mission (arcade tank) for a minute before it freezes or aborts. Sometimes I cant get the game to start at all. All drivers are up to date, no other system changes.
Also having this issue. Tried every recommended solution on the support pages, as well as manually changing between DX11 and DX12, but no effect, just more crashes upon launch.
Even with my latest intel integrated graphics card,my game doesn’t even mind opening after the update, it says “failed to recover the 3d device”
DEVS, pls fix it!

What’s funny is I was able to log in and play some games yesterday despite some occasional driver hangs and game crashes while in game, but after the patch today, I am no longer able to enter the game before the 3D driver hangs. So it seems like they fixed it for some but broke it for others…
