Game was working fine earlier this afternoon, but I had left the game on in the background by mistake for a couple days, exited the game and came back recently, and upon updating the game as of 7/10/2025, the game now crashes anytime I get attacked or even get close to another player. Instant bug out and crash. Anyone else having similar issues? This happens consistently every single game. Ran fine before at a consistent 200+ FPS at max settings.

yeah this has happened to me a few times in my years playing warthunder. It may be leviathans but this is a long running bug.
first if you have steam verify file integrity, something may have corrupted. I fixed this when I had by just restarting my computer a bunch of times and letting it sort itself out I know not the best solution.
Otherwise man you might unfortunately just have to delete it and let it redownload overnight

I have steam but the game is not installed through steam, I just run it through the launcher from Gaijin outside of steam so not sure if that would require a different method to try and fix anything.

yeppppppppp its happening again and just for record i have rx 7900gre and also rtx 4070super both gpus have this issues the nvidia in the past and amd now after last update
So far i believe there is no fix and this never was never fixed but this issue is in game since it was first introduced before on DX11 and now on DX12 as well. No matter what you do reinstal game, delete cache, check files integrity, dissable mods, reinstal windows, update drivers on windows, gpu or chip set or bios nothing work i try all nothing worked sooo you dont have to, at this point we have to wait till gaijin somehow wake the f…k up and give us proper fix i know hahahhahahahahahahahhahahaha funny i know.
