Gaijins effort in ai battles

This is both a complaint and a question… Why exactly does gaijin put zero effort into Heli pve, Ground assault and Air assault. All three being extremely annoying to play or boring. Take ground assault you sit in a small area where hordes of super annoying tanks come and most of the time mop the floor with everyone just so you can get a crate. Air assault isn’t much better you attempt to defend friendly ground targets which generally ends in a loss just for a crate. Heli pve is the worst by far you have a few objectives, like destroying ground targets which unless you have atgms you are dead. I’f you choose to destroy a base I hope you have bombs rockets are almost useless taking HUNDREDS and netting you almost no points. Hey wanna cap? Well good luck once you cap for some reason you have like 5 minutes to fly all the way back to spawn if you dont you lose the points. Heli Pve takes more than 45 minutes AT LEAST to get any where because of how wide spread everything is. I spent an hour and 10 minutes in one match and got a grand total of 14k rp what a joke.
Anyone have any thoughts on why they made these modes without even playing them?

There are a few ppl who only play the assaults because they don’t like the unfair asshattery of PVP. I’m not one, but I can understand the sentiment, because I like that the assaults are “just” playing with the historical vehicles, without dealing with the Call o’ Dudy TDM of random battles.
Just like anything else you have to figure out how the game works, ie; “Git Gud”. Then they aren’t hard. They aren’t supposed to be easy because then they would be boring.
Think of them as training exercises, they are a way of getting used to and getting vehicles competitive, because you can unlock the basics without burning your free repairs.

You might want to consider that this is primarily a PvP game, so the PvE aspects are more likely to get less attention in general. I play a couple other games that are more PvE oriented and yeah they have PvP, but it is not the main part of the game and you can tell. All games are a bit different in that regard. I don’t really see Gaijin moving away from that aspect any time soon, if ever, but there is always a chance that at some point, the PvE part may get a little more stuff added to it. There are also Single Missions and Dynamic Campaign as well. So it’s not like they have totally ignored it at all.

The single missions are all old and unmaintained. Back from the original release of the game. The assaults at least get some updates to account for the growth of the TTs.

True it is just sad they have neglected all of these modes for quite a while not even trying to improve them slightly. I can’t remember the last time they got love they have been exactly the same since I’ve started. Only real plus is the heli thing can be used as a “Training ground” Also you say ground/air assault aren’t hard they really aren’t but god dang you can never get actual teammates.

That is a game wide problem. Its just really obvious in the assaults since the other side is consistent.

True that’s not a dev problem its just much worse in a mode where you are hemorraging money trying to keep spawning in.

I played ground assault for the memes and waste destroyed by jumbos… at 4.0
