Gaijin really needs to reshape the naval damage and death system

Well as you may know, I’m in this for the battlecruiser event that I may use in the future, things in naval haven’t changed too much since the last time I played it (except for the detonation of the ammunition that’s new), it hasn’t changed much. They still have the problem of stealing kills in naval that you deal a lot of damage to a ship, only to have it stolen at the last minute by someone else and it’s especially frustrating when done by an AI on a cruiser.

Something that I found out in some of mine SKR-7s gameplay is that HE is strangely too easy. I men, is explosive, I think the game doesn’t consider crew inside the vessel, but only outside as active and operational force to keep the vessel working, but I think that could be reworked considering men inside as well, I can sinply spray HE from end-to-end against a vessel and the damage and crew taken out may be even enough to destroy.

In my experience this is only functional if the modules are constantly repaired, it’s easy to avoid if you don’t do too many repairs outside of the necessary ones. The problem arises more when you inflict more catastrophic damage such as the detonation of ammunition that fails to kill the ship, but at the last moment it is snatched death, another case where you manage to cause a fire in the elevators and explode due to the fire in the ammunition that in theory one started at the beginning.

Yeah. The fact that like 95% of the score is locked to the actual kill is not good for naval.

They shohld have the score be given based on the % crew you take out.

Damaging the hull of destroyers will take out crew. They are pretty weak to decently sized HE.

Decently sized HE yes, not 76mm HE

For the early destroyers, 76mm HE works.
Unless they have yet again completely changed the damage system.

They should bring same type of severe damage system on naval as in air.
It would make it lot better
Or another option is, when bot just finishes kill it goes to player who shot it most

HE is too weak if anything. SKR 7 is good against 3.3 destroyers but the 4.7 destroyers has much much more HP

That would be a much better way based on the percentage of damage like that done in aviation, it would help much more in the issue of naval deaths.

I had forgotten that the HE was effective at least with the smallest ships such as the Destroyers, or at least the very early ones.
