Gaijin needs to start compensating Naval players for the constant server problems

Playing ground, all fine. Playing air, all fine. Custom missions, perfect.

Go into naval and 60% of the matches end up in disconnections from the server. Without fail. This has been happening for years but with the last update, happens almost every game. Sometimes happens 3 minutes in (and gives you an expensive repair cost + crew lock because it thinks you’ve quit) and totally negates the point of using any boosters whatsoever. If you’re losing at the time of server crash, you get the loss with no chance of getting a win.

Just lost 500% worth of boosters because the server crashed again after 6 minutes of the match.

This isn’t me. This isn’t my connection. It was the same for all players including friends and squad mates in the same match as me when this happens.

We need to be compensated for this now because Naval is unplayable over half the time.

Gaijin won’t do anything - or at least they’ve never taken ownership of this problem in the past. No matter what, they say it not them, it’s the internet. I’m in the US, select to only play on the US server, and I constantly see those same server issues in Naval battles (hardly ever see them in Ground or Air, though). First-world kick ass internet services and connectivity… yet the server issues in WT Naval is somehow not Gaijin’s fault.

Gaijin’s US-based War Thunder servers are hosted by Leaseweb (public knowledge, nothing sekrit there), and while the exact location isn’t known, they are based in Northern Virginia, probably someplace like Ashburn. So, I just ran a speed test to a server based in Ashburn, VA (~1400 miles from me) and this was the result:

Yeah, the server stabillity issues in WT Naval has nothing to do with whatever’s happening between me and their Leaseweb server(s) in Virginia. They need to do something about that… you know, because the dozen of us who play Naval are getting upset. :)
