This was the most fun game mode I’ve ever played. Me and my clan were doing the event while actually enjoying the mode. People who wanted PvP could do it, and those who preferred bombing bases or doing ground attacks could do that too — and both were rewarded. Matches didn’t last too long, and you could even get the B-52 or Tu-95 sometimes.
Honestly, I don’t understand how it’s so hard for this company to listen to its players. The mode was great!
Then they heavily nerfed air kills, pushed players toward ground gameplay, but those SPAA units shooting through forests, firing while moving, and pulling 50g turns completely ruin the ground experience. Not to mention the airfields now being ridiculously far from the center of the map.
My god, you managed to do EVERYTHING you weren’t supposed to do!
Please LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY! This was a simple but extremely fun game mode, and in just two weeks you managed to go against everything and turn the event into something boring.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THIS COMPANY’S MANAGEMENT!

To be fair, doing anything other than 1. playing pvp or 2. nuking things was a waste of time previously. It wasn’t worth doing SEAD or any sort of regular conventional ground attack when you could just load 250sp nuke and bomb the same area and spend less effort and time doing it

Yeah, but the solution isn’t to ruin the whole game mode for everyone.
The game mode came half baked and the community, so experienced half of the intented experience. Nuclear Thunder should have ground strike meaning, it’s not supposed to be entirely player versus player content although I’ll agree the way anti-air AI performs makes most engagement other than Nuke-ing it entirely very unpleasing and most of the time unfruitful.

Man, exactly if the mode is supposed to be against ground targets, you need to have a fair experience. These AAs are insanely broken. It’s not rewarding to destroy them, especially on the American side. The Rolands still miss more missiles, but the OSAs have absurd accuracy, and they can even kill you when they miss your aircraft.
They’re too lazy to fix the game and would rather make us pay the price for the devs’ lack of professionalism in creating a playable mode.

All they had to do was nerf the AA and it would be a near perfect game mode. They’ve made it so much worse with the recent update
