It doesn’t open up any option for air player, it’s a feature exclusive to ground main that also play CAS, none of us are going to finish “kill X tank with light tank” with those fighters in Air RB.
I don’t even want to continue this stupid conversation anymore, you’re ridiculous. Enjoy your day.
If you don’t play Ground, why do you care if you can finish the task for tankers?
Also, adding the option to gain score towards the air task within GRB would benefit air players, because they can play GRB to get both tank and air points at the same time as well.
I think they should allow aircraft in Naval to also count towards the air score as well.
To clarify, I don’t mean that if I get 3000 mission score in GRB that it should count 3000 points to both tasks and air stars, only the score that I earned in an aircraft should count for the air star, and only the points on the ground should count towards the ground star. It wouldn’t be double progression, it would be the same progression split across two stars.
The old system had meta tanks for events.
The points system have no meta tanks, and is faster to complete.
I can tell you that it’s ridiculously easy to get 40k in naval arcade. It takes between 4 and 7 missions with a 7.0 ship to finish the task. I only wish it were anywhere close to that easy for ground and air. I’m not the greatest ground or air player, but it takes literally orders of magnitude more effort to finish those compared to naval.
If you don’t play Ground, why do you care if you can finish the task for tankers?
You missed this, it was my main question. Because at the moment if you wanted to get the distinction for tankers you would still need to play GRB in addition to air. Unless your point is that at the moment you are playing GRB but mostly using CAS to grind out your tasks for tankers? I just don’t understand your point.
The star is a “Mark of distinction for pilots”. If you fly a plane in GRB, you are still a pilot. This change wouldn’t have any effect whatsoever on air modes, you just seem to have some venomous hatred of people who play ground battles for some reason.
Because I don’t want to see people who doesn’t play air as religiously as other air main get air and ground main reward while the other way around didn’t apply for me, air player that didn’t play ground as religously as ground main who obviously can’t get ground main prize.
You see, for me the mere fact that giving ground player the ability to earn aerial mark of distinction is basically transalted to rewarding people who plays airplane in a mode where there’s no enemy that can fight them fair and square, that’s just unfair isn’t it? in that case I want either ground mark of distinction for AI ground unit kill or we both don’t get cross-progression, that’s it.
If you don’t play Ground, why do you care if you can finish the task for tankers?
You missed this, it was my main question.
What difference does it make to you though? Legitimate question. It doesn’t cost you anything, or degrade your experience. If you don’t play the ground modes I don’t understand why you have an opinion on this, it might as well be a different game with how much it would impact you.
Oh i’m just hating on people that get more reward with no more effort than me for playing a mode other than the one I mained, that’s all.
Probably more effort because they learned to play tanks and air :)
what? they learned to play air? what air? everyone in GRB who spawned plane is far less capable than literal ARB AI.
Before you make assumption, I have my fair share of GRB air battle, the only reason I died is always SPAA, actually good player instead of those CAS-slinging pigs in P-47 and hellcat.
The problem isn’t the score system with the events considering it is easier than before(especially for crafting events so it takes less than a full day to get all that(next crafting event is probably in September so it is good for that)). If they lowered the score requirement to 35k(what it used to be last time if I remember correctly) at minimum or 30k at maximum it would be better
