Gaijin; Do you vet/quality control/review Squadron names? Or wait until there's complaints?

As the title asks.

Lots of nazi-esque squadron names, squadron names with intentionally charged political overtones, squadron names referencing things that get moderated in chat, etc. etc.

No I’m not naming them here.

They need to be reported so that the GM’s will see this and act accordingly. Not sure if there is a better way, but if I see something like that, that needs reporting, I go to the Squadron page, find the Commander of the Squadron and make a report on them, as they are ultimately responsible for that sorta thing within their own Squadron. As I said, not sure this is the best method, but it at least will get something on record for the GM’s to work with . .
@Schindibee or @Necronomica as you two are pretty active here on the Forum, could you tell us if this is proper or is there a better way top report such things please . . and ty

@LeChance Thx for the ping :)

The In-Game complaint system is the only way for us to action these names, even if we see something (that breaks the rules) we still need to use the complaint system to create a log of the issue.

In regards to squad names; in the hangar/squad search you can right click their name and then click “complain” or you can open up their squad info and on the bottom left there should be a “complain” button (if i remember correctly).

Edit:
Here is a handy guide for reporting things in general.

No they don’t care as long as they get their GE fee or whatever it is, and I haven’t seen any action taken because the squadron exists weeks after I reported it.

Edit: According to the thread from Uncle J Wick, turns out one of the squads I reported multiple times has been existing for more than a year and mentioned by multiple people. NA7I is still alive and kicking.

It would be pretty funny if mods deleted my comment for mentioning the name when it’s clearly okay to exist in game 🤣

A very long thread from 2023 dealing with the same topic:

with a lot of feedback provided by @Stona regarding the topic - including discussions about NA7I & STASI squads plus the countless admirers of classic music aka Wagner…
