Gaijin didn't even read the source they used to close my perfectly valid and well researched report, their own source confirmed I was correct yet they still refuse to fix the issue

I recently made a report for the Harrier 1’s lift performance. This report used the release to service handling and performance trials document as well as the Harriers operating data manual.

They straight up ignored my report and claimed that their data matches the NASA document, however they never read the document.

Section from my new report:
“The Harrier 1s lift is incorrect as discussed in a previous report. The devs denied this report with a gross misunderstanding of their own sources. NASA ™ 88376 is a source they quoted. This source contains a chart plotted Coefficient of lift. What the devs failed to do was read any of the other sections of the report, in particular the section that says that all data was normalized to approximately fall between 0 and 1. The highest coefficient of lift actually seen on the wind tunnel data was 1.46 but was normalized from 0 to 1 to fit on NASAs plot. Gaijin never read this and assumed the coefficient of lift was just less than 1.”

According to their very own source they just proved I was correct.

However this is only a small part of the issue as they have straight up refused to accept a E-M diagram as it doesn’t match their expectations of the Harrier aircraft.

As seen below Gaijin used the normalized plot that puts all values from 0 to 1 meaning their CL is less than 1 when in reality should be 1.46 based on their own source.

its just how they role i made reports on F14s AOA switch many times and they said no cause its not planned they have selective realism and no one can do anything about it

fixing the harriers won’t bring enough money, and as we all know Britain suffers so this ain’t changing anytime soon

I’m pretty sure harriers are some of the most numerous premium vehicles.

Yeah but Britain isn’t as popular as USA and Russia is it?

Yes still a bit silly, However the problem isn’t ass critical. The F-14 would need to produce 1.5ish less G for any situation.

The have harriers in the USA, Japan, and a few others

The USA is the biggest operator of harriers.

True. I guess they just don’t like the Harriers, hard to imagine though because how can one not like deez boiz?

I have no idea, maybe they just don’t understand it.

To be honest, ive just got it as a rule of thumb to not even bother, they pick and choose what to improve and being british it will never really be improved with Gaijins selective realism.

You might be right but that is so annoying. It would easily compete with the likes of the F-5 in dogfighting abilities if corrected.

oh yeah its annoying but its unfortunately something Gaijin has done for ages. They ignore quite alot of valid reports for western stuff, or even when they are accepted they will sit there for years untouched, meanwhile other countries like russia and china just get sorted faster.

I see that too.

Its just really hilarious to me that the source THEY used to “Not a Bug” my first report actually proved I was correct if they cared to read it.

China doesn’t get special treatment lmao, the j10c is a joke
