So I spent the last 2 weeks or so spading 50-60 planes from Tier 2-5.
I used the current silver lion crate to get RP boosters to make it quicker.
I just read the patch notes for the new update, and a whole bunch of planes are receiving new loadouts etc.
Great… looks like I’ll have to respade them.
Which brings me to my point:
I think if you have fully spaded a vehicle, any new mods should be researched for free, you just have to buy them.
It’s not my fault that Gaijin got it wrong and discovered new secret documents showing plane ‘X’
could equip 250lb bombs.

Yeah and once I get an end of line vehicle, I should get every single vehicle that is added behind it because yeah that’s how it works. Not my fault gaijin discovered another vehicle from that country so I have to go back and research and buy it again

Completely agree. If you’ve spaded a plane and a bomb/belt is changed/added or new tech introduced (like EFS) should just be able to purchase it and move on.
It also seems wild that we’re penalized for incorrect load-outs/belts that are introduced via a bug report. Like, we already did what you asked, we unlocked the bombs you told us the plane could carry. Leave us alone.

That’s quite a bit different.
What I’m talking about is a literal error on Gaijin’s behalf.
It’s on them to do the proper research before introducing a vehicle.
It seems clear to me that in recent patches (last few years), there has been a large increase in the amount of new mods being added to low tier vehicles.
I’d take a guess that a lot of players just throw GE at those mods instead of having to do what I just did (11x bf110s and ME410s was rather painful), and that drives Gaijin to keep doing it.

I didn’t mind the German Heavy fighters as much. In fact I knocked a lot of that out in just 1 ARB match for each.
It’s the damn heavy bombers in Russia and GB that are an absolute slog.
Also, the P.108 can just piss off.
Yeah, an air start + nose mounted cannons goes a long way.
The problem is there are 11 of them.
It got old after about 6.

That isn’t the same at all… an entirely new aircraft is incredibly different than a forgotten part to an existing and fully researched/modified plane.

I don’t mind to spade new mods. What I do mind is not having a way of easily seeing what vehicles have become non spaded again. I miss a button to fade out spaded ones or highlight non spaded. What I do mind also is getting RP penalty while respading these vehicles because the vehicles I’m researching in the tree are obviously further down the line. You shouldn’t get RP penalty for vehicle research when playing a non spaded vehicle. They should put an end once and for all for both problems.

Idk whether it was a bug or not but when they added MICAs I played 1 game with my 5F and it unlocked them dunno what that was about.
I completely agree. I spent so much time respading everysingle plane and tank everytime they added new mods to them. It’s annoying.
I’d go further than you and say the new mods not only be automatically researched for free, but purchased and installed too. So I don’t look at every single tank or plane every time I find out they added mods…
