No strong justification but to screw over it’s 4 AIM-9B to peak uselessness. Goddamn 3rd party engine.
I present “keep speed”. AIM-9Bs (ESPECIALLY beyond 1.5km) have a turning rate equivalent to an F-104 without its elevator.
also there’s already a G.91 at 9.3 (with zunis though so that thing is automatically peak)

It should be 9.0, considering it’s better than the other 8.7 G.91s.

In Air RB you shouldn’t be struggling against AIM-9B’s unless you’re flying a straight-wing in a full uptier. Anyways, if you get in a 2v1/3rd partied, you’re most likely dead, whether it be by missile or guns. The G.91 is perfectly fine at 8.3/8.7 fighting alongside Sabres and MiG-15’s.
Its really not the best. I’d say the best is the German R/3 because its cannon armament really suites its agility and capacity as a gunfighter. The R/4’s missiles+MG armament are a sidegrade at best. The R/1 in the Italian tree (MG’s only) could be 8.3 though.

Uninstall the hydraulic boosters upgrade and you’ll very rarely, if ever, face that problem.
Edit: should also add that doing this with the F-86 variants is a good idea too (except the K)

It isn’t, I’ve played the G.91 R/3, and I thought it was a fine plane. It’s a bit slow, but good otherwise.
It shouldn’t be 9.0 while the CL13 Mk6 is 9.0 and while the F-86F-25/MiG-15bis are 8.3
G.91 R/4 is simply better than all 8.0s
How is the F9F-8 a better plane in every aspect???
