say do we know if the ajax has air tracking or not?
cos we know it has 2 types of air rounds but I don’t know if it has IRST?
cos it has something called ISTAR(Intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance - Wikipedia) but I dont think thats what that means for IRST on the ajax…
I’d imagine it does as its partially intended to shoot down drones, but we’d have to prove it to gaijin

fire rate in the pam is 80rmp and is stated so in game however the rof is still to slow enough to throw me off on the 3rd round every time
the skirts that go along the running gear are Dorchester Chobham armour same as the nose cone and challenger 2 armour then the up armour on the sides of the vehicle are gen 5 era (i.e can protect against kinetic) essentially the warrior should be one of the most armoured ifv’s in game.
ISTAR is a british army command group made up of all the regements/battlegroups support like recce snipers and whatever attachments they have all modern armourd vehicles have a way to connect to ISTA. however it does not allow you to track air targets (unfortunatly)
bmp 2 has never carried apds in combat, bmp 3 strill doesnt really carry apds either. both use apds ingame.
i believe that is what they’re going to put on the Ares platform to be used with armoured infantry
but if its not ISTAR its gotta have some form of air tracking if it has 2 different types of airburst rounds
it may have the same or simular auto tracking to the cr2 hunter killer package however i havent had a chance to play with the platform so i cant tell you weather or not it uses radar style tracking
Seems like this thread is quiet. I still think the Warrior deserves a complete rework. The model is still missing bits, and details that could be vastly improved upon. Maybe some new warrior variants could come to the game? TES-H? WRAP 2? C’mon Gaijin, please show this vehicle some love. Its still missing its towing eye, right side FPE pull cord and spawl liner…

I think it should get OES3 but that might just make a slow heavy giant. Fits the top tier UK playstyle well though, and all the added stuff might make it like a somewhat mini BMPT

you should do it. the more recommendations for an updated FV510 the better, because the current model needs ALOT of work to meet current standards, as well as to fix the missing parts of it…
