Think the boxer is slightly better due to the mission modules tho
There’s already the LMUK Turret integrated on the Boxer, iirc has parts commonality with Ajax turret too.
Although there’s also the whole Stormer replacement in the works, they might make that into an IFV and M-Shorad variant and have commonality there.

Eh, that’s a replacement for Stormer systems sent to Ukraine, not the full M-rad/Shorad replacement that’s in the works. Think Archer procurement vs Boxer RCH procurement. Don’t expect to see anything from it for a couple of years though (Thales is supposed to present something by 2027)

That’s what I suspect as well. Probably on a boxer chassis cause the Army is in love with them atm. Though TBF they might go for a skyranger based system with a CTA40 or something
I think this is most likely, although if thales has been tasked to build something I expect it to be the rapidfire with some modifications, whatever the case I believe the CT40 will feature
oh 100%, counter UAVs is big focus coming out of the Ukraine war, so I suspect all SHORAD systems going forwards to include a gun of some form for that sort of thing, and the UK has invested pretty heavily in the CTA40 over the years

Anyone else of the opinion that the Desert Warrior isnt 10.0 material since they screwed TOW’s?
Eh, it’s OK, that’s about it. 10.3 and up is a very MBT saturated BR range, so IFVs just suffer a little bit
Id says 9.7 tops with the current state of TOW’s, but i’d still be happy bringing it out in my 10.0/10.3 line.
Its just theyve borked TOWs.
They’ve borked all ATGMs really. all of them are near uncontrollable lmao

Fair, ive only been using the TOWs since the patch.
effects heavier ATGMs more than lighter ones, so if you’ve only used Milans and such it’s understandable if you didn’t notice. IIRC doesn’t effect barrel launched ATGMs yet though
Mainly use TOW or the BILL, but havent touched the BILL since patch.
I still find Milans to be pretty bad tbh, best atgm i have is the french barrel launched one on the amx 10rc lol, the thing still launches into the ground as gaijin think every atgm has a non existent dip to it for some reason…

Eh, personally I find the milans not too bad but that might be 8.3 britain being one of my go to line ups talking. though in my experience the ZT3A2 ATGMs have a very nice ballistic launch where the dip is further out than a tow or something, now the chassis is a pos, I’d love them to add the Badger variant with the ZT3 ATGMs, has fire on the move too!
You can aim the ZT3A2 ATGMs lmao? they are probably the worst at over correcting at ranges further out than 800m, if the guy stops good luck getting the missiles back on track.
