Future of IR AAM in War Thunder

What is the future of IR AAM in War Thunder?
There has been talks about 5th gen fighters and there are currently many modern ARH/SARH missiles in game but we are stuck with IR missiles from the 1980s/90s, when the radar missiles are from 2000s/2010s. The introduction of 5th gen fighters would impact these missiles severely.
We need new gen IR AAM to counter these aircraft or make the game more realistic/challenging.
when or before these aircraft are added.

with the current implementation of arb being 16v16 airspawn team deathmatch, its not going to be fun fighting next gen ir missiles

The pressure of IR missiles will remain the same no matter how many players start on both teams.

Next gen ir missiles especially with datalink will make the game super unfun

Amount of missiles per person is not the important factor here. So your statement is completely irrelevant.

Well radar missiles in game have incredibly nerfed seeker, which is why we have more modern ones.
And ir missiles are important at short range, where most fights occur in game, which also partly explains why we haven’t seen modern ones.
They’ll come at some point, but it might be a real mess then
