Further additions of the Z-10

Which is fantasy, and should be removed entirely.

Edit: LMAO flag reality. Gotta love a ‘certain subsect’ of this community

I hope it gets something, there’s very little point otherwise.

what fantasy, its what DIRCM was made to do, AH-64E have it as well

DIRCM does not defeat IIR systems.
It is unable to fully blind the sensor well enough to negated tracking, and in scenarios it does the IIR systems have HOJ functions.

In order to defeat IIR systems you need a system that is on the order of a true Directed Energy weapon, currently requiring more power and size than is applicable to aircraft.

idk this seems like its pretty good at disrupting the tracking

Cool. That’s not what these studies have found

so that short paragraph doesnt exactly say its fantasy or doesnt work it just say, it may still hit cause it blocks out most of it, current IRCM we have in game is also more effective than what it is capable off irl as well so im not surprised if gaijin would model it with high chance of disrupting

They didn’t model it with a “high chance”. they modeled it with a guaranteed disruption aka defeat.

This is flat fantasy.

The same way it is fantasy that it can disrupt missiles from above at all, the turrets are on the bottom of the helicopters.

The same way it is fantasy that it can jam missiles prior to being launched, it requires the MAWS to direct the turrets.

It’s the same old song and dance of gaijin giving their babies fantasy capability.

i see

That is DIRCM vs proxy fuse. No proxy fuse and the chance drops yet again.
There are no IIR seekers as far as I am aware on AAMs, except from the new SPAAs which IDK how they work as of RN. The new SPAAs for sure will change that but IDK how well they will work vs helis in the first place.

Not all apparently, they differ by LDIRCM and DIRCM, in Gaijin’s implementation too. Actually, Z-10ME got added right now to the dev server and it shares it’s DIRCM type with Ka-52 rather than Mi-28NM, which is much less effective. Ka-52 does not use lasers.

If Z-10ME’s is laser based, like Mi-28NM’s, then we should get it corrected.

Z-10"A" appears to be a premium, by the way.

Wouldn’t a warning for laser right on the DIRCM housing mean… it’s laser based?

Erm I guess. But IDK, Gaijin can still reject it.

all DIRCM should use lasers, including KA-52 I think

Do we know what missiles yet?

There is a caution laser marking on it …

still no changes. Could be unfinished, even they don’t want add FNF missiles, things like FS70A should be there

I checked dev server and datamine, seems no any IRCM yet, still unfinished

Spoiler

Do you think gaijin will give us the x19 pod for the Fs70? I’ve been asking them for a while now, but still nothing.

Spoiler

and also the Fs70A guided rockets

I like the rocket gameplay and making curved shots to destroy the anti-aircraft guns, but with the small rocket pod it’s complicated…

not sure if this Z-10ME is still unfinished, maybe time to start preparing some early work about issuing weapons?
