it haves no sense
What has no sense?
The arty spawns in the sky and dalls onto your head.
i think in sim battles there would be seperate vehicle where YOU have to aim the artillery
Nah. The gamplay would be way to passive and how are you supposed to kill them in a tank?
some copy paste from drones so u can switch to tank, u would have to estimate where is enemy
I mean you can make a suggestion if you want.
how?
When you make a new post you can change the category to suggestion. Just choose gameplay and make your suggestion. But you better read the rules for such a suggestiln first or else it won’t get accepted by a moderater.
Good luck!!!
I mean, with such little maps… I do think that some howitzers should be able to shoot at the sky and hit its enemies instead of having to have the gun horizontally. This way, obstacles wouldn’t affect those howitzers. It’d be fun.
when mother 120mm and father 125mm loves each other very much…
This is a good question. Are these SPGs or towed? What kind of gun? What ammo are they using? How many guns are firing?
Do i remember correctly, that arty after it was introduced was a phisical object on the map? Like, weren’t there guns on map that acted like arty and when they were destroyed you could not call arty?
Was it ile that in 2014 or do i mix something else?
Would be cool if they had battleships that would shoot their main cannons at the targets
from 10 miles away. and we do have artillery in the TT M109 and M44 are two of them
You remember right. I think it was removed due to people destroying them too fast or sth.
Actually Gaijin’s earth have tons of satelite equiped with 122mm howitzer floating above on space, and there is the artillery came from
If I’m not wrong they’re 152 mm shells with around 10 kilograms of TNT equivalent. Regardless of whatever is coming from above, we could be a little more optimistic of what is actually sending it from the skies.
I think this concept is way too much sci-fi and applying basic physics to it dropping ammunition from the sky would certainly affect the accuracy (why explains why artillery support in War Thunder is so inconsistent);
We can use a divine figure to explain why physics couldn’t be applies (since Gaijin themselves can’t actually comprehend to make some aspects in game better like grip and traction and terrain interaction with different materials such like rubber and steel).
When did they change to 152mm? And tbh the damage they made didn’t look like 152mm or 122mm, more like 75mm
