That’s exactly what I’m saying.
A tech tree gets a vehicle if they were part of the modification or otherwise have need for it. Switzerland shares history with both France and Germany.
The RUAG specifically has supposed inspiration from the Leclerc, hense why it’s the ONE leopard I’m asking for. Similarly, why is Germany obligated to something like the Mirage IIIS?
This is about finding what’s best for both rather then “This entire nation is mine because I say so.” I want Germany and France to share the Mirage IIIS and RUAG 2A4, I’m not trying to gatekeep military equipment.
Nobody is going to grind two seperate nations just to get two halfs of a nation they cant even play at the same time. I think that would be really annyoing and dumb.
It would make Escargot money. Which is something that can be abused to get more vehicles added then it would otherwise.
I don’t think you fully understand what I mean when I say technology shouldn’t be gate kept in Warthunder. Both France and Germany should get the Mirage IIIS because both would use it and it would save them development time.
Germany already has an auto loaded 140mm prototype just like France already has a 140mm. Except France has a MBT gap between the AMX-32 and Leclerc. Which is why I keep saying the RUAG can fill a gap that Germany doesn’t have.
Isn’t that just a Leopard Evolution?
i think upgraded evolution has a bunch of other stuff as well, like an upgrade to the cannon to shoot better ammo
There are Israeli/Local licensed modifications on the vehicle itself, namely the optics and the internal electronics.
“Sorry, Singapore Leopard’s for Israel now.”
So it seems like it’s just a Evolution built with Singaporean specifications and parts? It still seems strange the U.K is asking for it. It could go between the 2A4 and 2A5. Or at least provide an 11.7 with hull armor.
Singapore is a commonwealth country, and an ex-British colony like India is, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it ends up there with the UK. Ofc there’s more Israeli mods in the Singapore military equipment that made sense to go to Israel instead, but either way wouldn’t be bad.
depends who you ask <.< , like i said everybody is asking for leopards at this point
Unsurprising, it was and still is one of the most popular MBT around the world, so naturally any sub nations has a chance of getting Leopards introduced somewhere.
Since benelux got added to French TT unfortunately they will have zero chance to get anything from Switzerland
