When I’m in a tank?
I would love to be able to despawn on my spawn and be able to change my vehicle without having to die like aircrafts can do

I wouldn’t have any issue with it, I hope they would make spawns like airports with AI AA and as it is ground AT so enemy wouldn’t be able to do anything to me.
Not to mention infinite rearm and repair.
The game would benefit so much from ground spawn having AI controlled AT infantry, it’s a shame Gaijin encourages spawn camping
You aren’t immune to the enemy team if you hang around the airspawn because enemy air will come get you there, I know this because I constantly play CAS and being harassed by enemy air is common
I’d love if Gaijin gave more ammo boxes
Of course there is a chance of still being able to be killed by enemy air.
But seeing how many people abuse AI AA on airports anytime they know they will die is just amusing.
That’s why it’s not a smart idea to be all the way in the enemy airfield

The only not smart thing is that game allows people to abuse airfield AA as they will go for it anytime they know that they will lose the fight ;).
I’ve had the airfield AA discussion a million times in Air RB so I have no willpower to repeat it on Ground RB, have fun in your crusade against airfield AA stopping you from charging an airfield

I’m not surprised that person who supports unbalanced CAS and belives there is nothing wrong that one person can destroy the other without the other person being able to do anything about it also supports abuse of airfield AA anytime someone starts to lose the fight.
It is all coming together.
Maybe those aren’t problematic in their eyes.
Anyways, Gaijin isn’t really keen on reworking stuff.

Changing that might look fast on paper, but properly balancing it out isn’t fast, especially for Gaijin.
Things you propose are just massive when it comes to WT and at that point, half of the game/vehicles would need to be looked at again and their balance assessed.
Yeah, only small difference being in that the AA could shred half a dozen tanks before other, normal tanks could even load their next shell.
I doubt that AAs running around alongside mediums and heavies is good for the game’s health and it definitely feels like yet another CoD-like slop.
In one engagement you didn’t even had a chance to play a part.
Someone using one of the few remaining flanking routes is a play that you can easily predict, notice and counter with your tank, unlike an aircraft dropping a missile from 10km away.
Those two engagements are pretty different.
Just because you might be dead either way, doesn’t mean one engagement isn’t inherently unfair.
It’s like placing Object 279 at Reserve tier with an excuse of: “Uhm guys, you’d still die to a flanking enemy so why are you upset that 279 is clapping your cheeks, as you’ll be dead anyways ?”.
All the nasty shit would take who knows how much time to get fixed and balanced properly, meanwhile TO is simply a copy paste of GRB without aircraft. It really is a perfect solution to the current state of the game without fanfiction of what would happen if only just Gaijin would rework GRB from the ground up.

Money investment from Gaijin would practically be close to 0 as everything is already in the game.
People should be allowed to learn as they go. Current CAS is just a cheap crutch for them to get easy kills because they have no idea how to do it with a tank. If CAS crutch has not driven players away, I doubt a “camper” spot will to be honest.
Then people will complain again as not much has improved.

Id just like to say i have been bullying 2s6 players with a harrier today.
Free SPAA is not OP. if anything its made CAS fun by making us have to use SEAD tactics more

I use tanks, cas, cap, spaa etc, I understand what is unbalanced and what is not.
Of course, free spaas only solve an issue of bad players being able to do something. For good players there is no negative change.

In 9/10 cases airfield aa just doesnt care about plane approaching to destroy you while you are rearming. In grb at least, in gsb there are rolands instead of ww2 era cannons

free SPAA makes game so much better you can play high brs without getting nuked by CAS if you wanna play actual cas go ground strike in air realistic against AIs
