France Rank 8 Grind Questions

When I get back to war thunder I am going to be grinding a lot for the event so I have a few questions regarding rank 8.

  1. What to grind for first, I’m a huge fan of the Mirage 4000 but that might not be the best idea considering its battle rating. Is it better to go for the M2K? I’ve heard it’s pretty busted at 12.3 and it might be a more similar battle rating than 13.0. I am also in the position to go for the F-16A but 13.3 probably sees ARHs every match and I think I want a little more experience dodging things that aren’t Phoenixes first.

  2. I started France for the eventual addition of the Rafale, early variants will probably come to the M2K line right. My favorite variant (Rafale M) is a later addition due to the more advanced loadouts it can carry and will probably go after the M4K because the F-8E(FN) is a naval aircraft.

  3. Is it fun? I sure hope so lol. Anecdotes of favorite planes and experiences are welcome :)

I don’t play France except the event M2K, but generally around top tier go for the M2K first, I assume you mean the CS-5, after you get that playstyle down go for the M4K or F-16. F-16 will probably be your best bet at top top tier as it has an objectively better airframe. Remember I don’t play France and another thing to note is the only F-16 I have is the AJ, and the only other top tier vehicle I have is the SA JAS-39C
