Bounce the same round (APHE/APHEBC) that all 4 of those have on the lower bulge of the turret (just not under the gun directly) when it is facing forward. There is also 2 small weak points to those 2 same rounds if you have slight elevation advantage of the Maus.
Congratulations you just one shot a Maus from the front, or 2 shot via the roof (or 2 shot if you barrel them) (APHE OP).
500 meter, from a very big height advantage sure. I could say that about most tanks. Problem is,
All those Soviet tanks sit far lower than the Maus, and if they had the gun depression to hit that shot, not to mention the availability to, that would be a 1 in a million hit.
Especially since all those Soviet heavies (thanks to nerfs and no actual data to back it up) now have -3 gun depression, it’s pretty much impossible to do the shot you are speaking of.
Also, it’s funny, you have very little experience in the game, compared to me.
Your Lv. 50
A Brit main no less,
And have a 0.6 kd.
I could’ve said any Brit vehicle and you would’ve flocked to this forum like a moth to a flame.
Ah yes let me focus on a tank to my left I may not hear because I’m being engaged in an open battlefield where clearly very quiet cannons, machine guns, artillery, and planes aren’t about.
Why didn’t I think of that??
Also, if we all had that mentality, nothing would get nerfed or buffed.
Yes, it’s called positioning
See a good position is hard to attack and might even make it impossible to attack from a certain direction whilst on the ground
Now if we can determine which tank provides the bigger threat this will help greatly
A fox will struggle to pen the mediocre armour of the front of your average mbt
If we prioritise the fox then it’s imperative you either take away his wheels or his crew
If we prioritise the tank then you shoot to either one shot or disable to buy you time
Another option is smoke grenades which block line of sight in certain directions allowing you to take one vehicle at a time
If all 3 vehicles push you at once that is not the fault of the fox
Also I do find it funny that most people in here have a skill issue and don’t have 1.0 kd, yet y’all kept saying I had one XD, and a few people haven’t even touched the fox / British tech tree in this thread…
Yeah that “consensus” clearly isn’t biased.
Also to add to positioning. Unless you stay in your spawn it really doesn’t matter. The fox will be pretty much outside your spawn unless it’s a sandy map, in literally 20 secs
Level 50 (Almost at 10.0).
Been watching/following/Playing since the game was planes only (had a few years of no PC to play).
Brit main yeah, because thats where Aussie vehicles are.
KD is shit… Because I play support positions and I don’t stop spawning vehicles until the match ends. Not only that, but you should also play with "260"ping so then a shell that should kill someone disappears before it hits an enemy.
Also. No. That 500m from the front is actually easier when you are smaller than the Maus. The ones of the turret roof, yeah would be harder to hit with Russian vehicles.
Is it wrong to actually have a 7.7 lineup that isn’t just Cents/20LBer?
There are many hull down positions with fantastic sight lines on most maps.
Fortunately the fox would’ve made it to you before any tanks so once you’ve had a splendid trip to specsavers it should be easy pickings seeing the cars bouncing on over with no other tank to cause distraction
I’d argue the tanks that are worst equipped to deal with a fox are some T series tanks and most BRITISH tanks due to their poor reverse speed and lack of side armour
