I ran my F16C, F15C and J39C (SAAF) and did not find issue.
But then again, I used to fly DCS where the game does not care about even matchmaking and only focuses on plane to plane and pilot to pilot skill. At least in WT some aspects are nerfed for game balancing.
Gaijin needs to stop being lazy and add 2 spawns to maps. Would make ARB a lot more fun

The Gripen is still toxic.
The R-DARTERs are long range capable but not to the same extent as the MICA or 120s. Going mid to close combat it is impossible to not get at least 4 kills. Yes, ,I have been spamming my SAAF J39C a bit…

Oh no, Gripen players arent the meta plane where they constantly pop flares while they maneuver between 6 enemy players while slinging AIM9Ms at everyone nearby and killing them. Sucks when the meta shifts away from your favor, doesn’t it. You’ll survive like everyone else was expected to. Adapt to the situation.

Checked you stat card, not trying to shame or be an ass. 100% fine if they take Multipath out for Arcade as that is the mode you play the most…it’s Arcade anything can be changed to be whatever. For Realistic and Sim it should stay as it is this update and is a good change for them.
Yes, Air RB is my favorite mode. Is that forbidden? And I’ll be happy to do this every day until the update. And there it’s even worse with the FOR 3 than when I play RB. I stand by it, FOX 3 is the ultimate trash.

Well… Realistic is very close to arcade in terms of gameplay. They are both shooters, so having the old multipathing in RB is fine imho. In sim however? Hell no, this is way better than the BS 100m rule.

I really enjoy the new meta. Old meta before patch was horrible and not fun. With multipathing being too high, everyone was flying low and just going dog fight with missile thunder. Add to that 16vs16 you have like 10 missile in a small space without knowing who is shooting at who.
Modern plane were designed for BVR, and BVR was impossible due to multipathing.
Now I see different type of style, you can actually think about a strategy and play differently depending of the plane. Whereas before, the plane did not change the gameplay. The one with most flares or more missiles would have get the advantage. So Su27/Grippen meta.
To be fair, 16vs16 is still a problem, and player doesn’t understand that most of the pain comes from here. They don’t activate the small matches option, so we get 1 match out of 10 in 12v12.
Fox3 are fine to me. Not too OP, not shit. Multipathing at 60m is fine. Not to low, not to high. I think gaijin implemented well the fox 3. (Test thing before implementing it works)
The only issue is starting stock with 2 r73 or 2 aim9M (or 9L Idk ) for the new plane is shit. Now we get fox3 they should at least give us fox 1 for free as a stock modif. Stock grind is harder and harder.

To me, the only two issues are: the fact that 99% of the matches are 16v16 even though seemingly everyone enabled the apparently useless smaller match option, and stock grinds with only 2xIRs.
Other than those two issues, Top Tier is far more engaging and dynamic than it’s been for years.

The fact majority of matches are still 16V16 would indicate the majority of the people playing at those BR’s don’t have the smaller matches option enabled.

As I already suggested. Similar to night battles in GRB we need an option to check/uncheck for radar missiles. So you might just uncheck it, if you’re in a plane without AIM-120 or just actually want to play the game instead of just spamming Amraams. Cause planes without are lol, unplayable.

But… that would be like adding an option to check/unckeck for APFSDS or Thermals on MBTs…
Don’t get me wrong, I had a HORRIBLE time on the stock grind until I got the Fox-3s, and that needs to change. But once you get them, Top Tier is more fun, engaging and dynamic than it’s been for years (Except for the stupid 16v16 matches).

I think main issue is 16vs16. All the time I do 2/3 kills and die because they are 3+ enemy at the same spot.
Also for some reason if I hard lock target 1, launch a mica, then hard lock target 2 to launch another mica, the first will change target. To avoid that, I suppose I need to play TWS. But this thing is so unstable you can’t chose a target properly
