The game first started as ww2, so obviusly usa, ger, ussr, and japan.
Then they added other mayor nations such as france italy and china. And last some minor nations with kinda unique vehicles like sweden and israel.
Now its coming the korean ones.

All the counties with their own Tech-tree have an industry wherein they produce a certain amount indigenous military equipment. All of the major nations in the game fall under this umbrella.
Without a certain level of economy the nation would not be able to produce military hardware, so yes, economics are one of the factors.

so, most nation in the world have an agreement that it isnt a country
when the minority shall yield to the majority (thats how democracy works)
