its impossible to play this damn game anymore because you can’t relly on your team mates, because they either just throw their tanks at the enemy and leave, or even if they DO stick around they are Moron who can’t tell a Challenger 2 From a PZIV.

They didn’t try. they did nothing. Literally. I was left basically alone against a entire 6.0 German Team.
They did.
1- More rewards for staying in matches longer.
2- Free backups.
3- And now there’s going to be random vehicle spawn options next major.
They’ve given us the tools to spawn multiple times.
And no, banning people for one death leaving would be a problem, not a solution.
so i guess your problem is skill matchmaking and not 1 death leave. its a usa team, dont expect good performance

Why would it be a problem? You clicked battle. Now play your battle. If not give their controls over to a bot, because honestly the Bots in this game are more useful than Normal players these days.

I feel your pain bro. Try completing the tasks that require a win plus a certain activity percentage. Even if you’re winning a reasonable percentage of matches, all of a sudden when you get dealt a task like that, you get handed teams full of ODLs and lobotomy patients. You can’t expect to win any given match because it’s totally dictated by Gaijn dishing out unevenly skilled teams. The amount of times I’ve had anywhere from a dozen to 20 kills and the team STILL got stomped is ridiculous.
It’s also not helped by the fact that there’s virtually no extra reward for winning a match versus losing one.
Seems to me very few players even care about whether they win or lose. It’s just about doing the daily challenges and grinding to unlock every vehicle, which is pointless because they just add more and more and you end up having unlocked a ton of vehicles that you never end up using.
To solve 1DL, gaijin needs to fix the issues that cause it, preferably by giving players more map bans, and fixing the maps to make them better and more fitting of the BR they are played at.
That said, I’d rather have players 1DL than die 3+ times without doing anything meaningful.
They are planning on it with the next update. There have been numerous videos on it, I’m surprised you haven’t seen it by now. I’m also sure someone’s already stated and explained, so I’m not going to re-explain unless you’d like.
Or maybe they need to make the game fun and engaging again, instead of just making it tank COD.
I REALLY miss the old days when the game was slower paced and more team focused.
These days everyone thinks they are Some great tank ace, and don’t give a flying hell about their team mates, or the objective. instead they are just there to Farm kills.
Also, The underlying issue of One death leaving isn’t the Maps, or the Backups, or ANYTHING.
its the fact that people aren’t having FUN.
No one wants to sit and get farmed by a Tiger or Panther in their Sherman, or Spawn sniped by a Type-90 20 seconds into the match. and i understand that.
Its the Garbage balance, and COD-ification of this game that has caused all this.

Agreed. I do put some of the blame on the players for this, since it’s an extremely common sentiment to view teammates as enemies/neutrals to be ignored and not teammates. And acting very individual/anti team just reinforces that belief.
And the lack of care put towards balance and implementation of vehicles/game mechanics.
I remember time after time being the person who broke the line, id push out in my Churchill, or KV-1E years ago, and just break the enemy’s back. And my team wouldn’t hesitate to pile in behind me and back me up.
These days though? you try that? You will get shot, die, and your team will watch the entire time as they sit on their tracks doing nothing.
I ODL a good portion of matches cause of bad maps, bad team, or just seeing enemy team has players from a cheater squadron.
ODL isn’t the issue, it’s a symptom of the issue.
you mean like WoT where youre punished for everything? Punishment for bailing on an already lost match really shouldnt risk being punished. this isnt a competitive game, go play valorant or something for that

you expect teammates in an online game to be competent? thats your shortcoming tbh.
also in your given SC you got an american team, you quite literally cant expect anything from america teams anymore, all the trash tier players that used to play tigers are now gunning for the abrams and HSTVL
(will also still say my 6.0 british lineup can solo a 6.0 german team quite consistently. Black prince is one of the best tanks of its BR once you get to the fight)
