We have had it before. At the start of last year and the entire year before we had a period where 12.7 would never get uptiers.
It’s time to bring that back. Please divide planes that exclusively use radar missiles of the Fox 1 variety from facing planes that can use the Fox 3 variety.
It would make the game a million times better.
my only concern is then the best fox 1 planes will either face the current br and worse fox 1 planes. How would Gaijin balance that?
If it were up to me: by limiting the best fox 1 planes in how much of a downtier they can get.
Say 0.3 BR difference instead of the full 1.0 BR difference.
Let the F-2A ADTW’s fight the Su-33’s for example, but not the phantoms and mig-21’s.

yeah but thats still very heavily in the SU33s favor R27ER is literally the BEST FOX-1 BVR missile
while i agree SU27 is meta same with the 33 the AIM-7P is slept on for some reason its not as good as a ER but is still very good definitely a worthy rival for R27R1
Yet, not being able to outroll AIM-7M/Ps should be a reason to laugh even louder than not being able to notch an R-27ER.
The premium hornets may be strong if a gap between Fox 1 & Fox 3s is done, but not because of the missiles, but in its dogfight dif against the rest.
to be fair on the id say ER is hard missile to notch due to speed IOG guidance and its good pull if fired in a close range head on its almost a death sentance
At bvr distance its easier but its still hard but not crazy but gives you no room for counter play using your missiles
It’s nowhere near as good as the ER, which is simply miles superior to any other fox-1 in game.
I would give the 7P 2nd best though, over the R27R
