For all players that have the Excelsior tank I just wanted to know something can it bounce tiger h1 shells if angled properly or panther shells or Sherman’s or anything I like 4.7 5.0 5.7 because I always wondered about it because to me it literally looks like a British jumbo with a little bit less armor and not slanted but it looks more powerful to me than like the Churchill because it has so much speed on its side if he feels like when I watch it, it’s a KV-1(zis-5) or kv-1e based on it’s like armor in a speed it’s not great speed, but it’s certainly better than the Churchill and the Churchill can bounce a lot, but I was just wondering. You can analyze the armor of any tank, including the ones which you do not own, using the armour analysis tool. Just right click on the tank in the tech tree, select preview, click on armor (on the statcard) and go to protection analysis. There you can select the threat vehicle, shell, and firing range, and test from various angles by clicking on the spot to fire at.

Yeah I have it and play it with the Churchill NA75 now and then
(excellent for doing Adamant Award Challenges!)
Both are sturdy and can take some hits, sometimes a LOT of hits.
I do not recall specific tanks or the ammo they used, but they hold
up fairly well at the BR they are at(this is AB).
The Excelsior has better speed than a lot of heavies at that BR, but . . .
suffers from kinda lame ammo, so don’t expect to go blowin’ stuff up
all over the place . . . .
The Churchill NA75 is slow like most Churchills, but has some
actually good ammo, it can make good KaBlooies.
I mention both to answer your query because they run good together.
Just something to consider and I think they are actually fun for playing
in the BR ranges you will get.
But it totally depends on what you are trying to do with them as well.
