Then lets go ahead and lower the BR if that shitbrick to 9.0 but let it keep its crutch.
Should be balanced then am I right? Since even the most mildly competent pilot at 8.0 could outmaneuver the 9L.
And since you don’t seem to understand:
The only reason that thing is 10.3 and not lower is because of the 9L.
NO 9L = Lower BR
If you so desperately want to keep the 9L, then you should be able to fly at a higher BR with it, or you got no skill (sorry for your lack of it).
And if you rely solely on the 9L to get decent RP, then it is a crutch.
Also: Strike aircraft are not meant to be effective in Air to Air combat.
Which you don’t seem to understand.
Go bomb bases or something
oh no i understand perfectly fine that the 9Ls affect its BR.
however i am firmly of the opinion that the ability to fire a missile in the head on and having a better chance at getting a side lock then a 9G or something does not make it matarial for a higher BR, and removing those 9Ls would mean it should drop significantly(maybe a full BR or more) as far as i am concerned but with the 9Ls i believe that for the bucc S.2B 9.7 would be just right.
It is a total skill issue on your end if you can not stay out of its line of fire.
and keep screaming “ThEy ArEN’t MeAnT tO Be EfFeCTiVe iN A2a COmbAt” but playing them in air RB(in which they still are not very effective at fighting fighters) is the only way to get them to a point where they are usefull in ground RB and if they can not defend them selves at all(for which they need those good missiles because lord knows they will not be saved by their flight performance) they will never get to those bases to bomb
I am sorry that you didn’t managed to stay away from the subsonic brick with good missiles in your supersonic with average missiles though i am sure that is causing you the pain in your backside.
But chief we are clearly not going to have a productive conversation here, I believe you have the skill issue, you believe I have one so lets just agree to disagree.
well, 1. The jaguar already did not have a lineup at 10.3, it now becomes stupidly alone. The super etendard, which its ground capabilities are only good before Roland systems BRs joins the jaguar in the shadow realm, having absolutely no lineup for ground. Subsonic jets with the necessity to go in SAM range to drop its bombs accurately at moving target due to the laser guidance distance nerf, being in Pantsir br range is stupid in general.
and the 8.7 french lineup, imo the last one that is somewhat decent (outside of the premium 9.7-10.0 combo) loses it’s decent CAS jet in the form of the Alphajet. Alphajet which now joins the Strela BR bracket being a slow and flare less jet (E variant), meaning it can’t do anything if seen by one from 3 km away
meanwhile only the SU25SM3 moves up in ground BR. All other su25s are unchanged.
Yep, what did we expect…
If it hadn’t have the 9L, all your problems would go away.
You even seem to understand that.
My point being, ALL all-aspect-milssiles aircraft should go up in BR, or lose their all-aspects so decompression can happen in the middle BRs from 7.0 to 10.0. (The Bucc is just another all-aspect missile plane. If you took that personally, I am so so sorry for you.)
The first post you answered to was a description how this could be achieved.
The recent changes where the MiG 15s were lowered are a direct consequence of the All-Aspect missiles being at 10.0 and 10.3.
I urge you to go back and read than original post of mine, think for a second, and then agree or disagree that all-aspect missiles at 10.0 and 10.3 are the reason of the compressed BRs.
I am going to have to keep disagreeing with you.
I do not believe that all aspects missiles on total bricks are as big of a deal as you are making them out to be considering just about every fighter that faces them gets to dictate the engagement, if they have the initative on you that was on you for not paying attention to it.
Those all aspects missiles create a mildly credible threat to deter enemy fighters for a little bit giving those planes a little bit more time to get to their target and removing those missiles will make them nothing but RP Pinatas for the fighters.
Yes. It was very fair for the people on the ground to get bombed by a A6E sitting in low earth orbit with literally zero counter. It was very fair having A-10s lobbing AGMs at me from 6 - 8km away with once again. Zero. Counter. “jUsT gEt In YoUr OwN pLaNe BrO” Ground players shouldn’t have to research a entire different branch just to not get spawn trapped by CAS. SPAA shouldn’t just be target practice
I hope some of these changes get reverted, the Jaguar Gr1A and Buc S2B really shouldnt be 10.7, there are zero 10.7 tanks in the british tree, you you either have to up BR the 10.3s to 10.7 where they will face 11.7s that they have next to no hope of killing or you up br the Jag and Buc to 11.3 or 11.7 with their tanks there, thing is at that BR you get the Tornado Gr1 and the Harrier Gr7 and if you really want the JAS39C.
that is my 2 cents on these changes, they make zero sense and just serve to ruins line ups
Man what a argument here. So in other words, I should just never go for a all aspect missile carrier ever, let them drain tickets out of pure fear. And with your idea, that goes for subsonic, flareless 8.7 G-91 and, Swift F7, and Javilin. Seems fair, they definitely deserve to get 2 free kills every match because someone made the mistake of entering their 3km death bubble. If these changes went through, I would hop into an A-10 and just play it as a stealth fighter or 3rd party people for the most free kills known to man
So… for something A2A like the Sea Harrier FRS1e at 10.3. The choice is
Be unplayble at 11+
Be a Harrier Gr3 with a radar at 9.7
Im sorry. But no. I’d quite happily argue that aircraft like the F-5C at the exact same BR are more OP and more oppresive in a downtier than a Sea Harrier Despite only having Aim-9Es.
Should all strike aircraft be viable in A2A combat, of course not. But quite frankly, even with Aim-9Ls and R-60s. Most are still DOA at their current BRs, they just get the odd kill vs someone not paying attention.
But some are not strike aircraft, some light the Sea Harrier are fighters
GBU’s what cant be shot down, and allready they can lurk over aa’s and having good flightperformance. I just keep it intresting that those are dropped in br…
you can get at them from the rear easy enough because you with your superior flight performance get to dictate the terms of the engagement. But by the sounds of it we are not going to agree at all.
I know 99% likely to be ignored or missed or something but, with the tornadoes going down, phantoms going down, mig 21s and 23s going down, can we see a little love for the Sea Harriers in GRB and their BRs drop to 10.0/3? Only dumb bombs and rockets for ground attack an a couple of 9Ls for air to air which the tornado has too but on a slower platform.
Would also help to plug the gap for some light CAS with teeth at 10.3 for the UK.
Right now the SHAR with 4 9Ls is going to be the same BR as phantoms with sparrows and mach powers, kind of a bit off.
Yeah it’s so superior that if you miss one (1) pass, they just put their nose on you and win. Or better yet, the 3 other A-10s next to him gift you with a missile before you even get your pass in
