I mean I was looking for a direct reference like a book or whatever but if its just from the Bundesarchiv in Germany then ok I can live with that

scroll down to page 40, thats where the flakpanzer starts

wonderfull :D

I kind of do the same, i just dont drive to the Militärarchiv, but instead write a form free email to them, they offer free digitalisation on demand of 5 documents per email. Tho due to great demand it usually takes like 5 month.

Gerät 341 is not the Flak 44, Gerät 341 is Flak 45, Flak 44 is Gerät 342, which is just a reworked Flak 43 for twin side by side mounting, with fall appart ammo frames. In game it represents the Flakturm with Gerät 341, the build wooden model is the later one with 5,5 cm Gerät 58.

What documents do you usually ask for?

Currently i in summary asked for a bunch of Handakten and Main Documents across Navy, Army and Airforce, from 20mm to 128mm guns. Some Aircraft manuals and such. They are both for reports as well as i write Wiki articles about guns. Where they also come in handy, currently up is only the 2 cm Flak, 3,7 cm Pak is finished tho still needs an mod to look over. And the StuH 42 is also there.

There are other examples of rounds not having their “proper” designations, like 35mm API-T, which in reality acts as APHE-I-T.

There are also other aircraft-mounted autocannons whoose rounds are indicated as APHE but in reality are APCBC with HE filler

Interesting I was sure front armor of the turret should be 70 mm not 100 mm. Tho I’m still not confident about that 100 mm.

When it goes from rarely seen to appearing in battle after battle you know…

Yeah you know the hype is huge

Give it fev days or weeks and it will be back to rarely seen. Its always like that everytime something is finally fixed or hyped vehicle is added. Or just everyday with Hellcats.

To this day that’s still the worst HEATFS shell I have used.

I ve remember it to be decently good on a 6.7 LT. Still can overpressure tho and that’s good about it.

When panther 2 got an option to remove nvd it too was spammed during a first week of the patch. Tbh even today, 3 days after the patch i see less coelians than when an update dropped, it just needs time to go back to normal
