Hello everyone :), what I would like to introduce today is FL-2000C
The FL-2000C is an advanced terminal air defense missile system that uses a 92mm infrared homing missile that can be launched and ignored. It is an upgraded version of FL-1000. Due to the FL-1000’s turret only carrying two missiles, the firepower sustainability was insufficient. Therefore, the FL-2000C installed a large turret in the rear compartment of the vehicle, equipped with eight missiles, and used the same type of photoelectric probe as the FL-1000 to lock in enemy aircraft. Its maximum range is 8km, with the ability to react quickly and strike accurately.
Due to the fact that FL-2000C does not consider ground attacks at all, its electro-optical integrated detection system has a higher illumination angle, which can better search for enemy flying objects. However, relying solely on optoelectronic equipment for reconnaissance is not efficient in harsh weather conditions. Therefore, it has a supporting phased array radar search vehicle that can form an air defense position with multiple launch vehicles for key area air defense, as well as mobile operations for field air defense.
Both FL-2000B/C can launch QW-2 and QW-12 missiles with a caliber of 72mm, but FL-2000C does not have a launch box for FL-2000B, so a larger caliber 92mm missile can be installed to achieve a maximum interception distance of 8km. The gunner can remotely control and issue attack commands through the computer installed on the co pilot. Due to the increase in the number of missiles and the upgrade of detection equipment, the FL-2000C is stronger than the FL-1000 in combat and can attack more targets simultaneously. Its detection and recognition capabilities have also been greatly improved.
The chassis is Dongfeng Mengshi EQ2050, four-wheel full-time drive, and the highway top speed can reach 120km/h. All components of its engine compartment are equipped with super waterproof impregnation requirements. The water depth can reach 0.75m, and after installing auxiliary devices, it can drive for a long time within a water depth range of 1.2m. When off-road driving through complex terrain, the vertical obstacle height that can be overcome is 450mm.
The photoelectric tracking system of FL-2000C integrates three channels: television, thermal imaging, and laser ranging, forming a comprehensive and all-weather detection and tracking capability. The improved laser ranging channel is compatible with QW-3 semi-active laser guided air defense missiles, further expanding the types and combat range of weapons used.
FL-2000C is a short-range air defense interception vehicle with strong maneuverability and sustained firepower. Its positioning in the game is similar to that of Type 93 SAM, but its missile performance and observation equipment are more powerful. Missiles can be launched without any interference, have excellent anti-interference performance, and have a large amount of ammunition. Suggested BR is 9.3.
