Spawn protection is still an absolute joke, I’ve seen SEVERAL other posts talking about this topic and yet nothing has changed. I understand that spawn protection is a necessary thing but for no reason should I be able to be shot 3 times and the other player still has spawn protection. I do like how spawn protection stays until you move, but I firmly believe that it should go away after the player shoots as well. It’s essentially just rewarding bad teams/players. Oh you got your spawn rushed because your team got folded? here’s three free kills. I’ve been on the other side of it as well, having spawn protection myself and it felt so cheesy being able to kill three enemies before I lost my spawn protection. If your spawn gets rushed clearly you and your team did not perform well so you deserve to be destroyed, not destroy those rushing spawn.
As for some solutions, perhaps it could be set in such a way that if one team has all the capture points the spawn protection time is halved, or like mentioned previously, spawn protection is removed after the player shoots. That way they can still not move and pick who to target and maybe get out of it while still requiring skill and strategy rather than just being handed three free kills.
