Arguably the worst map in the game, IMO, and that’s really saying something. Utterly ridiculous sightlines that mean pushing out into the open results in getting shot by someone in full defilade cover on the other side of the map, more often than not only a handful of meters from spawn. And that’s when you aren’t actively being shot as you make your way out of spawn.
The bowl in the middle is effectively a deathtrap unless you cling to the small ridges available to make it to the A point. As a result, it’s basically a two lane brawl down the 2 and 6/7 lines, with occasional brave souls trying to make it onto and then off of the B point without blundering into someone’s sightline.
It’s also horribly balanced, the north team has a far safer time getting to the B point than the south team, alongside having strong sniping positions in B3/4 and B5/6. South side really only has F3/4, which is easily suppressed.
It’s awful for dealing with CAS, especially helicopters and vehicles with fire and forget ordinance, as is common with all bowl maps.
And possibly it’s worst sin, it’s availble in BR brackets where some but not all tanks have laser rangefinders. Trying to play a T-55A, M60A1 or even a Chieftain on this map is just pure pain.
There are folks actually arguing this map is “good” and “balanced”, I’ve hardly seen north spawn win. It’s too easy to block them off from leaving and basically turn them into fish in a barrel. Yes it has a lot of “variety” and “long range engagement” but one spawn is much worse than the other.
Both sides needs to have equal amount of sneaky bastards to snipe each other out of existence, I feel extremely uncomfortable with vehicles that has less than 12x gunner zoom and not having gen 3 thermals. The drop rate for this map is also very low, probably lower than fire Arc which I think is the biggest POS map in the game lol
Remove Pradesh or flatten it, I hate this map. Even doing CAS in it is impossible because there is always fog and clouds covering everything up, and also clouds can glitch inside the map (which are client side, so other people may see you while you can’t).
Overall it’s a map which makes no sense whatsoever, why would an army send tanks through this valley and terrain?
