While I might agree maps in general, and some naval maps, could use some work.
This map you are showing is not that bad, and I actually enjoy it . … . for what I play.
Ofc, I play it differently as I have a totally different line up whenever I get it, something like:
OR this:
Maybe even:
I prefer Bluewater, and these are some line up’s/presets I have and are using for the event.
But first off, I don’t think the map even matters with a line with only ONE boat in it.
You’re kinda shooting yourself in the foot, even using back up’s just taking 1 ship…
Except for Air RB, where the mode itself is literally a one and done, I think a player
should take more than one vehicle to play, some variety and different options.
One of the main reasons is the maps, because playing Random Battles give you random
map rotation so you never know exactly what you’re going to get(box of chocolates).
So having some diversity in your line up gives you more options to spawn with.
Seems like for the map/scenario you are showing, having one bigger ship that would
spawn elsewhere would be very helpful from a starting point . . … just saying.
Granted, there are a lot of maps that could use some “tweaking”, and I do not mean
an overhaul of the aesthetics, but change, revision & additions to the spawn/cap point
positioning to add some variety and enhance the overall dynamics of the maps.
But until the times comes when we start seeing these types of changes, might be best
to work up some bigger line up’s with more variety in them, to try and make the maps
you get to play a little less “inflexible” in what you have the ability to do.
We all play and approach the game differently, and that’s ok. But we all also get the
same maps to play on, so . . . doing everything you can to keep yourself from being
in a position of disadvantage . . . seems like the smart play . . . . to me anyway.
Something to consider . … .
“U play game, don’t let game play U!” . . … . that sorta thing
