Fix Bradley Tow-2B Path

Hi all, please fix the pathing of the Tow-2B to be the same as the 2 and 2A. The 2B is only useful against enemies behind cover, so aiming at a hill instead of the top of the enemy is counterintuitive. Here is a comparison.
Thank you

That’s, what it’s designed to do…

It’s made so even a “simpleton infantryman” can just aim center mass and hit it.

If you know the tank is behind the hill, and you know what tank it is, just imagine the shillouette of it where the hill is and center mass it.

And before someone says “oh, you don’t know anything about it” I have used the BILL, which functions nearly identical to the TOW-2B.

It doesn’t do any damage if you aim centermass, maybe it operates like that in real life but it’s also probably designed to do much more damage as well. In-game the only way to do sufficient damage, is to aim right off the top of the turret by aiming under the tank lol

That’s because it’s been nerfed into the ground, which, while it’s not exactly “bad” it just means you have to be a bit more careful.

Just because it doesn’t overpressure doesn’t mean it’s not effective, especially against T-Tanks when the breech is a majority of the turret, and is an easy F-Kill where you can move up an take them out.

That sucks to hear :( it’s fun to use

Don’t know if this was pre or post nerf:

Seems to work fine in this video.

That’s not the ordinance I’m talking about. I’m talking about the 2B which is a completely different beast. It’s primary role is to explode over the enemy and cause over pressuring

The Wiesel 1A2 uses 2B though…

That video is all about the 2A

Oh, well, I’m sure there’s one out there.

There’s nothing wrong about the pathing of the 2 and the 2A, it’s just the 2B

That’s the thing, there isn’t anything wrong with it.

Just because something doesn’t explode in a catastrophic fireball doesn’t mean the missile isn’t performing it’s job.

If you’re talking about it flying above the crosshair, it’s supposed to do that. If you’re talking about its poor flight path and correction after launch, it’s not supposed to do that (but gaijin won’t fix it anytime soon)

The 2 and 2a is supposed to travel on a different path than the 2b?

Did I, not make that clear?

TOW-2B is a TDA missile, which means it automatically computes what height it needs to be compared to the reticle, to fly above the tank and detonate its HEAT charge.

2A rolls if I’m not mistaken, making it more stable in the air (spinning or projectiles prevent deviation off target if I’m not mistaken). Although the 2B doesn’t roll, the horrible guidance and correction of the missile is highly exaggerated from what I can tell, but gaijin doesn’t really care.
The missiles also shouldn’t drop upon being launched, they should fly in a relatively straight line after being fired (minus the correction to above the crosshair that top down missile do)

You didn’t. First you made a point which I understood, then you posted a video entirely unrelated and said it’s working as it should even though it had nothing to do with the 2B variant. Then you mention the Weisel for whatever reason I don’t know. So no, you did not make yourself clear.

I’ve actually done a slo mo test, and, while the drop isn’t as exaggerated as in game, it does have about a half-meter drop. It should really act more like the Kornet does on launch.

Oopsies.

Uses the same missile, that’s it.

Gotcha. So if it’s working as designed thread can be closed. Thanks
