So I’ve run into a pretty frustrating issue on one of the maps and I’m honestly not sure how this made it through testing.
Right after takeoff from the airfield, you’re immediately exposed to open terrain with zero natural cover - no mountains, no hills, no terrain masking at all. You’re still low, slow, and trying to gain speed/altitude, and at that exact moment enemy SPAA already has a clean line of sight on you.
This basically turns the air spawn into a shooting gallery.
Gajin never plans for the future. The AFs were made for close range AA.
The real solution is just remove the leviathans SPAA until proper counters and map changes come.
Here’s a better (and revolutionary) idea. Ya know how it’s a ground game mode? Maybe spawn in a tank

Come play ASB then. Warthunder was originally intended to be a sim game. The encyclopedia even says that the intended way to play is stick and rudder (that thing is ancient lmao)

The argument of the game’s original purpose (unfortunately - with how buggy and neglected SB modes are) is one that holds little impact or relevance.
My argument was meant to carry the same weight as “It’S a GroUnD gaME,” that is, none at all.
He allready did spawn in a tank… How about you deal with the fact people chose to use an aircraft after they earned the spawn points to do so by playing a tank…or you could just go play Tank only game???

Ye, but aircraft spawns are way too low judging by the amount of kills they can get, should be at least 700-1000sp depending on munitions, maybe 300 with only air to air weapons. Also helicopters can be used on first spawn
